USA looking for a win today vs England in the semifinal game to move on to the championship game Sunday to win a third straight World Cup title.

I love soccer. I absolutely love both the men’s and women’s World Cup. But if the US women lose today I will be just fine with it. It’s unreal how politically charged a simple soccer tournament has become. I won’t miss all the stories about how defiant and brave these players are because they swear at a sitting president. Sorry for being a downer.
