British festival-goers have been left outraged after a Belgian music festival was cancelled at the last minute.
Security concerns were ostensibly the reason behind the cancellation of the VestiVille festival in Belgium on Friday, though local officials have launched a fraud investigation.
Several Brits travelled hundreds of miles to the town of Lommel for the event only to find it was cancelled just hours before it was due to begin.

They mean they drove hundreds of “ kilometers” . nobody in europe drives miles to anywhere.
Maybe it’s because I’m not 22 anymore, but the idea of spending thousands of dollars to travel abroad to go see a few concerts and wait in line for 30 mins to 1) get a $5 bottle of water then 2) another 30 min to relieve myself isn’t my idea of a good time. I’d rather spend $30 paying a cover charge at a local venue and catch some unsigned talent that may offer something new. The bathroom may be trashed but at least I don’t need a passport to buy a drink.

I agree. If I want to see a good concert, I go to YouTube, pick out a favorite band, then set the window to full screen. Doesn’t cost me a cent, and a clean bathroom is 10 steps away.

Ja Rule. Where have I heard that name before. Oh yes, Fyre Festival - pretty much the lead act. You’d think people would have GOTTEN THE CLUE when they saw his name on the roster.

Ah Belgium. Birthplace of the Smurfs. When the loveable little critters crossed the Atlantic to come to the New World, something miraculous happened. Their skin turned blue.

I hope they at least got a cheese sandwich.
Canada embraced the metric system while england stuck with the english system of measurements. why? because they invented it in the first place!!

True, but they can be converted so those who do not deal in the metric system get a bad mental picture.
