Maybe it’s because I’m not 22 anymore, but the idea of spending thousands of dollars to travel abroad to go see a few concerts and wait in line for 30 mins to 1) get a $5 bottle of water then 2) another 30 min to relieve myself isn’t my idea of a good time. I’d rather spend $30 paying a cover charge at a local venue and catch some unsigned talent that may offer something new. The bathroom may be trashed but at least I don’t need a passport to buy a drink.

I agree. If I want to see a good concert, I go to YouTube, pick out a favorite band, then set the window to full screen. Doesn’t cost me a cent, and a clean bathroom is 10 steps away.
