Yes it is nice. There is a coast highway - Pacific Coast Highway - that runs all the way north to south. When the fireworks start people who haven’t gone to the beach park on PCH & watch.

You are correct 5 runs north to south, but is an interstate & is more inland. PCH is 1 & is right along the coast with spectacular views the whole distance.

I just got to share this with you folks.....people gathered in the parking lot for our local fireworks tonight and when they were over I heard the people ‘singing’ God Bless America right through! Never has happened here before!

So glad you shared this caww. I made the mistake of reading my husbands high school class group e-mail. Someone said they hoped it flooded in DC in order to flood on Trump's parade. People think Democrats will change...I think they are getting more ugly each day. I wouldn't dream of meeting and seeing his class. Sad isn't it.

What a wonderful celebration today.
Every time something so clearly beautiful for America occurs, I think that there’s nothing the left can possibly say now to run down the president. Sadly, I am always surprised.
I am tempted to tune in tomorrow morning to hear how they twist this joyous day into something horrible. I have to wonder how long this hatred and ranting can continue. Surely people can only stand to be part of this for so long before becoming exhausted.

Yes, I noticed that. I told my husband..I don't see your friends like I use to. They've become very ugly. I try not to read the e-mails. Out of around 20..two or three are Republicans.(husband is one) As I've told Peabody our town goes back and forth from Democrat to Republican all the time. Sadly it seems we are an extension of Louisville, Ky. One in the class is one I Red Pilled.
