We used to get nocturnal skunk invasions, our German Pointer would annihilate them but the smell lingered for-evah!

Of course, with our windows open and window fans bring in the cool night air, we would jump out of bed as it shot by a rocket, then around closing up the house, great exercise.

Dang, I missed it too.

My neighbor called all upset that now she was having ptoblems with 10 ft. at the back of her property.

So I went over to talk to her.

She got the 12 ft. on the side all taken care of and now this.

I tell you, the lady that sold the property really made a mess of things, of course she is no longer with us.

She may have to get a lawyer to straighten this one out.

It never ends, I feel so bad for her.

After I forced myself into a cell w/ women&began speaking to them, one of them described their treatment at the hands of officers as “psychological warfare” - waking them at odd hours for no reason, calling them wh*res, etc.

Tell me what about that is due to a “lack of funding?”

Now I’m on my way to Clint, where the Trump admin was denying children toothpaste and soap. This has been horrifying so far. It is hard to understate the enormity of the problem. We’re talking systemic cruelty w/ a dehumanizing culture that treats them like animals.

A propos of nothing, I was pondering a conversation I had last night with a friend who was mad about the proposal to forgive college debt, her son and wife having worked hard and being nearly out from under a $180K debt.

Apart from how this punishes people who have worked hard and played by the rules, it has suddenly hit me that college tuition will necessarily skyrocket. NOBODY will be able to afford college without a huge debt and then be at government mercy to get them out. Colleges are in business to make money ... and by government paying the tuition debt for everyone, colleges have no gating factor on what they can charge. Of course, ultimately, it means severe rationing since we cannot afford to pay $500K, $1M, whatever, for tuition for everyone who wants to go to college.

I guess that's part of the plan, since it will necessitate government taking over colleges to ‘control prices.’ I know, I've confessed before that I'm slow on the uptake. The government simply has to get completely out of this loan business. It's awful, awful, awful.
