For an added challenge to todays cryptogram, try deciphering it one sentence at a time.
You can find this little fun word game, to combat early dementia and senility in us baby boomers, in several daily publications.
The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).
Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated.
PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and any tips you might give the group on how you solve these puzzles as puzzle solvers love to hear how you made out.
You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for todays Cryptogram.
If you need a little help you can copy the cryptogram and paste it to Hals Helper below:
You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper.
Solution to our last puzzle:
IF WE ALL TAKE THE TIME TO LISTEN AND LOVE EACH OTHER, THIS WORLD WOULD BE A BETTER PLACE. ---MIKE LOVE
About 2 and 1/2 min. Getting the first word and the UOXU word were key for me. May you not force it.

See comment #2 for the winning approach.
Yes, and to solve it line by line to add to the challenge.
True, sometimes Im just being lazy.
3 min on the phone.
Try the first word and the second follows.
Ah, prolific from the lips of an original ‘broken home’ where the big Hollywood ‘Beauty’ stole the wimpy husband of a symbol of America’s ‘purity’...
Or something like that...HUGE story at the time with a lot of ‘how dare she do that’ and ‘what was HE thinking’ even as ‘virginal, backward yute’, we could see what the difference was .....<: <: <:
2:30 ... and most of that was spent coming up with the first word, which gave me the fourth word, which gave me the author. From there, it was like ice sliding downhill ...
Are you talking about the parents?
The mother was extremely talented. I happened to see a youtube of her playing the guitar and singing, not easy to do.
What a scandal at the time. Every single Hollywood and romance tabloid magazine had them all on the covers.
Then you add Liz and Eddie and Richard to the mix.
Broken home is right....
Mom played Dominique etc....’The Singing Nun’
I personally couldn’t see what all saw in the ‘Father’ must have had some ‘hidden’ talents????
The big question at the time was ‘HOW could he leave her for her?’
When you come across old movies of the period, you kinda see what happened. I think Eddie did a movie with Debbie and also Liz? and then Liz does one with Richard....Little Debbie is out in the cold...
In the end, I think Eddie turned out to be the dope...
The only thing little Eddie was known for, was his singing.
yes, oh, did you get my privmsg yesterday???
Yes, I did. I always enjoy your commentary...
tks

Less than 1/2 minute.
But I couldn’t work one this week... I gave up.
I got the first word and then the rest just fell into place. The author isn’t a brainiac so it wasn’t hard to do! LOL
Try George Washington or Thomas Sowell quotes... Two of the smartest men who ever lived.
Mark Twain had some great zingers, too.
