The pickup truck driver has been arrested on 7 counts of negligent homicide. Few details about the accident, though,
Sounds like (per link below) the truck driver crossed the center line and when he corrected, the trailer jackknifed, right into the oncoming bikers. Just damn.
For some reason I live just off a highway which is really heavily traveled by motorcycles. There will often be 20-30 or even more.
I have noticed that they tend to spread out probably for safety. Maybe 40-50 yards apart.
Driver from the Ukraine working for Ukraine Mass company who has operated under LLC names because all of the violations. Driver has numerous violations. Accidents, drugs, theft and he was able to get a CDL. Pathetic.
Younger 18 year olds will soon get CDLs.
Big Trucking wants cheap labor. Collateral deaths will be tolerated.
I read that he had a drunk driving arrest six years ago and in May of this year. Ugh

The driver involved in a New Hampshire crash that left seven motorcycle riders dead was arrested at his Massachusetts home Monday.
Volodymyr Zhukovskyy, 23, was arrested on a fugitive from justice charge by Massachusetts State Police troopers at 90 Newbridge St. in West Springfield, according to New Hampshire authorities.
An arrest warrant was issued in New Hampshire Monday, charging Zhukovskyy with seven counts of negligent homicide.
The charges are in connection with the horrific crash Friday in Randolph, New Hampshire.
Massachusetts State Police said troopers also located in the defendants residence wax packets containing a residue suspected of being heroin.
He has not been charged with a drug offense at this time, but authorities will test the residue at the State Crime Lab, state police said.
If the residue tests positive for drugs, Zhukovskyy will face charges, state police said.
A husband and wife from Lakeville, Massachusetts, were among the seven people killed in the Friday night crash.
Jo-Ann and Edward Corr, both 58, of Lakeville, who were riding together on one bike died in the crash that took the lives of seven members of the Jarheads MC, a motorcycle club made up of U.S. Marine Corps veterans and their spouses, said Jane Young, New Hampshire Deputy Attorney General. ...
RIP.
Man this brings back a horrible memory.
Had a friend who’s brother and wife were riding up in New Hampshire one weekend and a driver pulled out of a side road right in front of them. His wife was killed instantly and he was busted up real bad. Compound fractures and such.
5 years after the accident he came down with a systemic infection that was traceable to his fractures not being cleaned well enough. He had IV antibio treatment for 2 weeks.
Connecticut prosecutors say he was arrested May 11 in an East Windsor Walmart parking lot after failing a sobriety test. Officers had responded to a complaint about a man who was revving his truck engine and jumping up and down outside the vehicle.
Additionally, Zhukovskyy was arrested on a drunken driving charge in 2013 in Westfield, Massachusetts, state motor vehicle records show. He was placed on probation for one year and had his license suspended for 210 days, The Westfield News reported.
That wont last. The prize is driverless automated long haul. No breaks, no log book, no drivers, big big savings.
Well, at least here in New York State, illegals will soon be able to get driver's licenses. How totally insane is that!
Any idea what his immigration status is?
That punk survived the crash?
Any injuries on him?
Is he a legal citizen?
So sad, should never have happened. And yet, somehow, I think this will also go down the memory hole.
RIP
