The U.S. Supreme Court refused Monday to rule on a case challenging President Trumps 25 percent tariffs on steel imports into the U.S. that was imposed last year.
The decision, which the justices did not immediately comment on Monday, will leave in place the U.S. Court of International Trades ruling from March that allowed the presidents tariffs.

In March 2018, Trump imposed 25 percent tariffs on imported steel and 10 percent tariffs on imported aluminum. Argentina, Australia, Brazil and South Korea were exempted from the tariffs. Canada and Mexico were also exempted starting in May, Reuters reported.
Trump cited national security as the reason to implement the tariffs under section 232 of the 1962 Trade Expansion Act.

A group of companies in the steel industry, including the American Institute for International Steel (AIIS), then filed a lawsuit last June to argue the tariffs on imported steel had violated the U.S. Constitution because section 232 was an “improper delegation of legislative authority and violates the principles of separation of powers and checks and balances established by the Constitution.”

Thanks, I would have thought American Steel Industry would be happy about import tariffs...
And that who ever brought challenged them would use the reasoning "just Trump"...

I think that’s a misleading title intended to fool people into thinking that they are pro-America.

I get it. I wasn’t criticizing the post. I just think when we excerpt, we can try to include the bottom line. I don’t get why article writers today write in a style where they think the have to tell a story from the beginning and you don’t get the meat until the end. I subscribe to BLUF, bottom line up front. Most of us don’t have time for the long narratives.

For anyone curious, AIIS is a globalist, pro-NAFTA, pro-TPP Beltway lobbyist organization out of Falls Church, VA.

Maybe we can get an "April Showers!" circa 2018? Or another 2018 version of "March Madness!"
Oh well, there's always the Tick Tocks. That will show the Deep State. Anything but arrests, charges, and convictions.
