My boys seem to like the center so far. The only hiccup has been “the brown guy” that is in their classroom (their words for him … I’ll call him “T”).

Both of my sons have complained that T has hit them and generally makes a lot of noise in class. I mentioned this to an employee in their classroom (not the teacher herself, who was tied up at the moment), who told me that T has “boundary issues” and promised to make sure the teacher knows what has been going on.
Is there anything else I should be doing here? I don’t love the hitting part, and I would be just as upset if it were any other kid in the room doing it. However, I feel concerned that it’s T that my sons have zeroed in on because he is the only “brown guy” in the room. When they refer to him that way, I correct them with his name. I try not to dwell on differences, and I certainly don’t want to instill biases on them that they may not even have yet. I also don’t want to encourage them to be friends or interact with him if he really is just a jerk.
For now, I think it’s a case of them not liking the loud kid that occasionally may be in their personal space bubble, and they just aren’t sure how to advocate for themselves. Any thoughts or insights would be helpful.

Have your boys go up to T and ask him if he wants to be treated as an equal with everyone in class?. When he says “yes” have one of your kids rap T in the face as hard as he can. Then have him say “that’s how I treat my brother! Want anymore equality?”

Not to worry, they are learning about reality first hand.
That makes sense. My experience in the inner city was that black boys hated me the minute they saw me, and began acting up instantly, but the girls did not.
Now that I'm in an almost entirely Latino suburb, the few black students we get are sent there by their parents because they don't want them going to mostly black schools. These are kids with involved parents, and are generally well-behaved.

Only in this country do they force people to lose their own identity and compromise with others.
Here’s a thought. Become the mom your boys need. Quit your job and do what you need to do to live within your means and raise your boys yourself. Don’t dump your responsibilities on someone else.
When they get older, really go all out and home educate them.
registered letter. this is to notify you that t has struck my children on multiple occasions. this behavior is unacceptable, and we do not expect any repetition of same. should there be a repeat physical contact between t and my children, you will hear from my attorney. in the meantime, an apology from t to my children is also expected by week’s end.

You’re probably right. They’re immune to the charge of racism so they can lay down discipline without fear having people hit them over the head with that.
Perhaps segregation is again the answer. I myself would opt for separation. I think it would be best for both sides.
