Todays Cryptogram
NQ XFUEAKN ALKH LT FKBUTBLALTP NQ PFUHH ZCELIH DLIZ NQ TKI LTBUNK. ---KFFUA WAQTT
Todays CG is courtesy of the Arkansas Gazette.
You can find this little fun word game, to combat early dementia and senility in us baby boomers, in several daily publications.
The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).
Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated.
PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and any tips you might give the group on how you solve these puzzles as puzzle solvers love to hear how you made out.
You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for todays Cryptogram.
If you need a little help you can copy the cryptogram and paste it to Hals Helper below:
You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper.
Solution to our last puzzle:
AT THE TIMBERLINE WHERE THE STORMS STRIKE WITH THE MOST FURY, THE STURDIEST TREES ARE FOUND.---ANONYMOUS

I cracked the code! I cracked the code!
Pinch me! I can’t believe I did it!
It was too general.
Took forever! ok, one hour.
This was a tough one. Tried all sorts of combinations. The double letters were obvious.
Took a break.... and then saw a clue to the author.
I cracked the code!
Yippee!
Tough one today for me. 15 min.
Same here. Once I figured out the name, it was quick going.
I’ve got nothing. Absolutely nothing.
Nice, tricky puzzle! About five minutes. Once I figured out FKBUTBLALTP, it was still trickier than simple plug and play.
?... The author is a well known and well paid actor of yesteryear.
I know the feeling. Good job for not quitting.
Stopping and coming back always works.
Also, counting letters, and applying the “E” to the most common sometimes works.
I finally got it. Not sure how, but I did.
This one is taking me hours. I’d kill for a clue!
Got it. The actors hint did it.
Had to put it away yesterday. Looked at it with fresh eyes, this morning, and the author finally clicked...without the clue.
