The West Hollywood City Council has unanimously voted to have Donald Trump's star removed from the Hollywood Walk of Fame after multiple instances of vandalism, and Star Wars alum Mark Hamill has pitched the perfect person to replace him: film icon Carrie Fisher, who passed away in 2016.
In a tweet responding to The Hill's story, Hamill suggested the late actress take Trump's spot in the popular tourist attraction using #AStarforCarrie, which has since gone viral. "Good riddance! (and I know just who should replace him....)" he wrote.
Hamill shared a special relationship with Fisher, who played his long-lost twin sister Leia in George Lucas' Star Wars trilogy. Both reprised their roles for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the first film in J.J. Abrams' new trilogy, but their characters didn't reunite on-screen until its follow-up film, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, which saw Hamill's Luke Skywalker die and become one with the Force. Fisher will appear posthumously in the upcoming Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker via unused footage left over from The Force Awakens.

Trump has nothing to do with Carrie receiving a star. Go ahead , give her one. The WALK is a big "meh"
President Trump should offer to pay for the removal of his star and auction it off with proceeds going to The NRA or some pro-life organization.
Celebs, or their family/friends if deceased, apply for and pay $50,000 for a Walk of Fame star. IOW, it’s a phony, self-promoted “honor.” PDJT should be happy to have his star removed, and to demand a refund of his 50 grand.

The coroner’s report listed sleep apnea as the primary cause, with drug intake contributing. The family objected to a full autopsy, so I’m not sure one was conducted.

She died of a heart attack. Drug abuse and sleep apnea might have weakened her heart, but heart attack killed her.

I’ve got a better idea. This is Donald Trump we’re talking about here.
He should buy the Walk of Fame, dig up everyone ELSE’S star, and put down 1000 of his own.
The proximate cause of her death was cardiac arrest, but why her heart stopped beating, and when she took the drugs, could not be precisely determined.
Just read the report. No where in it is an MI mentioned.
But the coroner did state how limited his report was by the fact a full autopsy was not conducted.
