The tox screen found four drugs in her body - heroin, Ecstasy, cocaine, and traces of other opiates that may, or may not, have been related to the heroin.

The proximate cause of her death was cardiac arrest, but why her heart stopped beating, and when she took the drugs, could not be precisely determined.

In any case, can one be diagnosed without an internal exam?

And how in Hades did the family get away with refusing an autopsy on an unattended death?!

Drug withdrawal is very stressful, probably more so than a overdose. Still both drug related.

We *all* ultimately die of cardiac arrest, ie our hearts stop beating.
