Heres A Proposal To Hurt Big Tech When It Censors Conservative Users

Not a bad idea.
I suggest something more effective would be for Trump to order Fed agencies to write very strict privacy regulations. All of these companies make money by stealing your data and selling it. Put that off-limits and they’ll start feeling the pinch quickly.
No federal agency should have a Facebook or Twitter page if they discriminate based on political opinions.
If they have to pay trolls to ban them, they instantly create a professional trolling industry.
The dialog needs to continue.
Especially, why is it that FB/Youtube can reach into our content, whereas there is no similar breech with the phone companies, postal system, fedex, ups.
I just want to know why conservatives cant start their own platforms?
Or comedy shows with Liberalism as the victim of humor. God knows these hypocritical thugs arent short on providing plenty to poke fun at.
Trump could issue an executive order immediately closing all DOD, USDA, FAA, HUD, FBI, CIA, USAID, NASA, etc facebook and Twitter pages.
Hit the bastards hard
Just everybody go to FREEREPUBLIC.
PROBLEM SOLVED
Why do private companies like FB, Twit and the like get to use public utilities to transmit their content when they knowingly discriminate based on political and religious beliefs?
My daughter calls FR “old man facebook”.
That is a very good question!
Just do like the Libs, go after their advertisers. You cut off their income, they take notice.
Because Big Tech shuts them out and shuts them down.
Gab.AI was an alternative to Twitter. Big Tech colluded to kill it. It was banned from the Apple and Android app stores. It was censored and prohibited from Google ads. It was throttled on social media, limiting organic social media marketing.
Freestartr was a free speech alternative to Patreon, while Subscribestar was an existing small crowdfunding site. Their story is a violation of anti-trust and pro-competition laws. Paypal, Chase and Stripe all got together and said you will agree to liberal censorship decisions not to allow payments to go to Pamela Gellar, the founder of Jihad watch and others on our “hate agents list” or you lose payment processing. Subscribestar surrendered. Freestartr refused to go along, had financial services cut off, and died.
That’s systemic oppression, with Big Tech giants and financial processors working together to kill the startups.
It also explains why new conservative alternatives keep getting aborted. They can’t get funding barring things like Brave and Dissenter funded by a tech billionaire. Even MeWe caved and partially gave in to liberal censorship demands recently so they could continue to receive payment processing.
That’s because FR is the grand daddy of all internet forums, blogs and social media platforms.
Both of your ideas are good.
And remove tehir immunity from being sued. And make it so they can only own one platform. Google would have to give up You Tube, Facebook would have to give up Instagram, and so forth. Maybe we could snag one or two.
Just. Lick on the ads and dont buy anything and advertisors will stop buying ads
It really is that simple
Yes but then he’d also have to close his own Twitter account...double edged sword...
On the other hand, I’d love to see him do it and move to Gab...
