I was replying to Gub on when Manafort came on the scene and helped Trump get elected. The night of the primary and the states delegate count I remember Cruz people were quietly stealing delegate votes from Carsons. Trying to stop Trump from getting the outright votes to win the primary. They were saying what difference did it make because Ben couldn't win the nomination. So Ben then became Trumps surrogate during the Convention.
