We had a high school here in Indiana that used pipes/drum with their marching band. I student taught there. It’s been a while but iirc the black ones are war pipes and the plaid are used in ceremonial occasions. Some great history written about the fierce warriors that followed the war pipes. Our president would know all about that. As would Barr.

House Oversight Authorizes Subpoena for Kellyanne Conway Over the Hatch Act

FTA:Well, they’ve gone and done it. The House Oversight and Reform Committee voted to authorize a subpoena for White House Counselor Kellyanne Conway to testify about her potential Hatch Act violations. The panel says that Conway engaged in “egregious, repeated, and very public violations” of the ethics law.

“Here, we have a clear-cut case of a federal employee violating federal law over and over and over again,” Chairman Elijah Cummings (D-MD) alleged on Wednesday after the panel’s vote.

Conway knows what’s going on. The Democrats on the panel, she said earlier this week, want to silence her.

“They want a big roll of masking tape over my mouth,” was how she put it.

Listened to President Trump’s excellent speech to the Faith & Freedom folks. Near the beginning he thanked them for their prayers. He then lingered there, saying how important the prayers were and to keep them coming. He said “keep them coming” several times and talked about how fragile our gains are. Just one wrong vote and it could all be gone, he said. He later mentioned again how fragile everything is that he’s accomplished. If he’s not reelected it will all be undone very quickly.

I began to tear up at that point. This is a great man. Our country will suffer tremendous loss if he loses 2020.
