Ask Amy: Dad is horrified to learn theres a gun in the house [More]
If I were the daughter I'd be demanding a paternity test, because he sounds more like Confounded Cuck.
And are Amy's exploding hollow points anything like Patricia Eddington's heat-seeking bullets that cook deer? In an indoor situation, she instructs readers that her "research" concludes a responsible concern for controlled penetration equates with "yet another (likely unsafe) gun owner in this country"?
As for 11 states banning them, does she mean "armor piercing" rounds? Because all I'm seeing are San Francisco and New Jersey, And the latter is not a ban but restrictions on transportation and use that allow for home use.
I guess all you need to be an advice columnist is an ... opinion. Ann Landers and Dear Abby were no better, except for the time I was pleasantly surprised.

His house, he can ask her to leave.
He’s still a fag. And hope his principle is important enough to lose a daughter over.
Kind of like the old(er) cartoon of a good looking woman patting her ‘boy’ friend on the head - he holding his head between his hands and she saying:
“If President Trump scares you with his harsh talk, maybe we both should start seeing other men” (close not a quote quote)
Dear Dad feels he has to lock his bedroom door at night because his daughter owns a gun. If he’s that afraid of his daughter, he needs to live alone.
I was at the range this morning on the 25 yard and there was a Dad and his daughter shooting. He’d just gifted her a Sig 229 and she was trying it out. Warmed my heart.
Unlike the “male” entity in this young ladies life.
So in order to keep folks from having to go to the denver post, here is the piece:
Dear Amy: This week I discovered that my intelligent, hard-working, responsible 24-year-old daughter (who lives with me) is a gun owner! And its not a normal gun either it is a 40 caliber semi-automatic, and she has hollow point bullets to go with it.
Amy, this is the kind of weapon a criminal would possess! She says it is for emergencies. There have only been two home invasions in our neighborhood in the last 11 years.
Ive given her three choices: She can either give her weapon to me, sell it, or move out in three weeks.
I love my daughter and would be so sad for her to move into a place that she would hardly be able to afford, but now I have to lock my bedroom door at night because I dont know what shes going to do.
Now she says that I dont trust her, and is barely speaking to me. How can I convince her to stop endangering us?
Dumbfounded Father
Dear Dumbfounded: According to my research, possessing hollow point bullets is illegal in 11 states; is it legal in your state to own this sort of exploding ammunition?
In a report published in 2015, researchers at the University of Chicago found that 31 percent of households reported having a firearm in 2014, down from about 48 percent in 1980.
According to this study, there are more guns, but concentrated in fewer households. Why must your household be one of them?
Where did your daughter get this weapon and ammunition? Has she received any safety training or certification? (Accidental gun death is a substantial risk of owning a gun.) Is she perhaps engaged in another activity outside of your household that exposes her to increased risks and makes her believe she needs to have a weapon?
I have news for you: A locked bedroom door is no match for this weaponry; as I write this, just five days ago a father in South Carolina tragically shot and killed his own 23-year-old daughter through a closed door when he mistook her for an intruder.
I agree with your ultimatum; I also weep that there is yet another (likely unsafe) gun owner in this country.
"Amy" ...
"Amy" illustrates the reason we should repeal the 19th Amendment.
Yeah...actually that’s exactly what it means. If you let another man mount you, you aren’t masculine.
Not really being in that position, I’d submit to you that Milo, notwithstanding all his problems, is more masculine than Willard or Jeb! or William Kristol or David Brooks. Freddie Mercury was and Rob Hanford is more masculine than Bruce Springsteen. Of course Ted Nugent trumps them all.
Tell “dad” that I would be happy to adopt her - there’s always room for one more sensible person around here and it would be a shame to waste all that common sense on a dum bass like you!
Sounds totally made up. “not a normal gun?” What would a “normal” gun be a Daisy Red Rider? I’d bet money this is entirely manufactured propaganda.
That’s why I put the (satire?) notation. But, I am aware of individuals who do NOT live in my reality so............
Yeah, I know people who don’t live in reality as well but the language here just drips with fiction.
Obviously his state needs a Red Flag law! /s
Thanks for posting the full text.
After reading it I’m call BS, pile of fake excrement. It’s the smell and the way it’s written that screams hoax.
Nugent has been married twice and has six children with four women. In the late 1960s, prior to his first marriage, Nugent fathered a boy (Ted (Mann)) and a girl, both of whom he gave up for adoption in infancy. This did not become public knowledge until 2010. The siblings were adopted separately and had no contact with one another. The son learned the identity of his birth father in 2010 through the daughter's quest to make contact with him and their birth parents. According to a news report, over the years Nugent had discussed the existence of these children with his other children.
He was married to his first wife, Sandra Jezowski, from 1970 to 1979. They had two children, son Theodore Tobias "Toby" Nugent and daughter Sasha Nugent. Sandra died in a car crash in 1982.
His second marriage is to Shemane Deziel, whom he met while a guest on Detroit's WLLZ-FM, where she was a member of the news staff. They married on January 21, 1989. Together they have one child, son Rocco Winchester Nugent.
In 2005, Nugent agreed to pay $3,500 monthly in child support for a son fathered with Karen Gutowski while he was married to Deziel.
