A jury says a South Carolina father should be executed for killing his five children.

The jury unanimously agreed on the death penalty Thursday for 37-year-old Timothy Jones Jr. in the slayings of his children, ages 1 to 8, in their Lexington home in August 2014.

She DID leave him, but she must’ve had one really awful Lawyer for this nutjob to even get ANY unsupervised custody of those kids!

You must be thinking that divorce lawyers work for the good of any of the parties to the divorce other than their own pockets.

And I think one unidentified weapon has a blank so the executioners can carry the thought that maybe he wasn’t the one to take the killer’s life. True? IDK.

I’ve heard similar stories about the policies. Don’t really know. I do presume it would be a big burden to carry with you, even to do a justified killing, as in self defense.
Sometimes, there just is no other way. So far, I’ve never come close to having to make that decision.

Personally I think we should hire a consultant from North Korea. They can provide us with unique ways of disposing of people like Jones.

Perhaps so. With North Korea, though, one never knows how much of what they say is true. Kim likes trying to shock the world with these reports of bizarre torture and killings. Sometimes, it is discovered that the reported target was not killed, and is still alive someplace.

North Korea is not at all hesitant to utilize misinformation. Mainly, because they know it’s next to impossible to verify anything. Everyone under his command is likely to promote the official lie, vs chance receiving that same treatment. Much the same way Russia used to be viewed during the Cold War.

LEXINGTON — The Pentecostal preacher who performed the wedding ceremony for confessed child killer Tim Jones in 2004 found him a fervent Christian who “prayed in tongues,” upset others in the church’s congregation — and believed the preacher’s wife was trying to seduce him.

Meanwhile, the Columbia family therapist who recommended in 2013 that Jones be given sole custody of his children during a divorce believed him “highly intelligent” but found it odd that Jones requested she not wear high heels during their sessions.

Two of the defense’s major witnesses took the stand Thursday, whom Jones’ attorneys hope will convince jurors that the former Intel software engineer was either insane or seriously mentally ill when he killed his five children in 2014 and as such, should be spared the death penalty.

“I used to joke with my wife that we had a church of 25 and Tim was the only one who could make every one of them upset,” Pastor Micah Sutton told the Lexington County jury on the eighth day of Jones’ death penalty trial. Jones joined Sutton’s church in Lombard, Illinois, a Chicago suburb, in 2003 just after Jones finished a year in prison for cocaine possession, car theft, burglary and passing forged checks.

Yes, you’ve focused on exactly why I contend we no longer live in a truly civilized country. This monster should already have been publicly hanged. Instead he will be rewarded with a private room, three nourishing meals everyday, excellent medical care, and recreational facilities, probably for years, all paid for by American taxpayers. DISGRACEFUL!
