Let's talk about UFOs.
To be clear, your friend and humble narrator does not wear a tinfoil hat, nor does this reporter believe the U.S. government is competent enough to keep proof of alien life secret from the American public.

Yet a number of credible media outlets have reported that Navy pilots are increasingly reporting sightings of unidentified aircraft, and the service is taking them seriously for a change. Politico's Bryan Bender reported in April that the Navy was working on new guidelines for reporting such aircraft in the wake of increased sightings in military ranges and airspace.

[C]ould these strange aircraft actually be long-range Russian or Chinese unmanned surveillance aircraft?
Probably not, according to the Air Force.
"While there is a proliferation of UAV [unmanned aerial vehicle] technology across the globe, we are not concerned that China or Russia have developed a long-range capability about which we are not aware," said Air Force spokesman Maj. Bryan Lewis.
Any drone that could fly from Russia or China to the United States' East Coast would have to be at least as large as an MQ-9 Reaper and the data link used to fly the aircraft would be detectable, said retired Air Force Maj. Gen. James Poss, who served as the service's former assistant deputy chief of staff for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance.

Given all of that SPACE out there, 57 is probably a vastly inaccurate estimation.
There are many other dimensions. These UFOs are either demons and/or a lot of it is stuff our own govt has engineered and they keep it secret.
Thats just the ones that supposed to be in contact with US.
I see.
My guess would be the soul was wiped clean during the insertion process, and therefore everything needed to be learned anew. Otherwise he would have been fluent at birth. And I dont think that was the case.

We all contain a great gift. A piece of the creator or a gift from random mutation (which ever way your boat floats). It is in code form and not physical form. There is no scientific word for it. Religion calls it a soul. Information itself is special. Knowledge. Wisdom. DNA is the hardware. Imho. We just dont know how to see or measure the code yet. Or may not even have the capabilities. Once you grasp that or take that leap, it gets real crazy afterwards.
One of my favorite Twilight Zone or Outer limits - can’t recall - had an entire world existing as a fleck of dust on a policeman’s jacket...
The future is known. The past determined it.
Sorry when the Bible provides accounts of the devil doing his thing, who comes to steal, kill and destroy, (John 10:10) and working to induce a good man to curse God and die, then you dismiss such parts of the Bible (or relegate them to being fables)?
No problem. I am learning more and more every day. It’s probably the biggest story never reported.
I think it’s a way of presenting a concept to a group of people - which included many relatively primitive ones - in ways that they could grasp.

You mean rejecting an explanation based upon lack of proof for something which itself lacks proof. In both cases the subjects seems to be "camera shy," making if difficult to provide clear visual or material evidence of their existence, and with most of the testimony being anecdotal. And in any case, with all of the proffered evidences being dismissed by skeptics as explainable by natural causes.
But for those who find warrant for the Bible being true, and or have seen evidence of the supernatural (whether it be testimonies of the providential and miraculous workings of God or such manifestations as the surgeon of the rusty knife ) may not find the spiritual explanation of UFOs implausible.
There are already critters that do that- Nancy? Chuck U.? Hillary?
So, how do demons flying around in inter dimensional craft affect us?
And what exactly is a demon and why would they need mechanical crap to move from one place to another, when SATAN and God seem to do this stuff without being corporeal?
The whole demon thing is a throwback to fairies, leprechauns, and wood sprites. There may have a been a basis from the from prehistoric times, because they were not understoodbut to believe in that stuff now is a stretch.
If the requester is asking for a Thomist-like philosophical or theoretical blow-by-blow analysis, I'm still the wrong guy; it'd be akin to a little leaguer trying to hit Nolan Ryan.
HAVING SAID THAT, the most PLAUSIBLE argument I've read is something like the following:
-light-speed travel (as we envision it) is fraught with peril...the devastation if you hit a tiny piece of rock grows as your speed accelerates. Thus a pebble kicking up and hitting your windshield at 55mph may cause a crack; at light-speed your space craft is destroyed. So, compound that probability of a piece of space debris being in your path across scores of light years.
-demons are fallen angels. They really don't like us. In fact they hate us, but they are sneaky and understand us better than we know oure lives. They know our Achilles heel.
-(fallen) angels are spirits and not subject to material limitations so the aforementioned light-speed problems don't apply to them.
So, logically then...if there are simply too many UFO sightings and pictures etc to blow it off as Swamp gas, AND if it's physically unlikely for aliens to survive travel across the vast distances of space, AND if fallen angels hate us and want to destroy us, AND if they know our fascination with aliens, AND they can travel from here to there without limitation...
AND therefore...
Could you please FReepmail me tomorrow's WSJ stock pages...oh hell, make it next Monday's.
There is a both/and approach available here. Christians accept demons as much as we accept angels, God, anything spiritual etc. If one is an absolute materialist, none of that makes any sense. I am not a strict materialist. I believe reality is more complex than the descriptive capability of any current models. So in broad terms, I accept that spiritual beings can interact with humanity. Furthermore, as one who accepts the description of Jesus in the Bible as true, I see that He did interact with angels and demons, and those interactions reveal said beings have means, motive and opportunity to deceive humans for various purposes.
As to why angels and demons might use more material means of interacting with humans than God, it is a misleading question. In Christian theology, God has interacted with humans in very big, physical ways. Jesus as the very real God-man. The feeding of the 5000. Where did the additional mass come from? The resurrection. The parting of the Red Sea. Force field extraordinaire? The great flood. A planned planetary culling? Etc. Given that angels/demons would be much more limited than God, maybe all they can put together at one time are a few scraps of cool looking metal to amaze us with. Just sayin ...
Still, as much as I believe all that, I also know the physical world is a crazy, creative place with lots of possibilities all its own. So for me it’s just not necessary in any given case to assume who or what lies behind such an alleged sighting. I think the jury is out on most of it. For my part, I also accept that God could create life anywhere in the universe, in any quantity, with any technological capability, up to an including solving the thorny problems of high speed space travel.
I also had relatives working deep inside the US aerospace industry who worked on things that could be related to such phenomena. Humanity has produced some truly brilliant minds, and no matter what you think you know about what we have created on our own, you are probably wrong to some degree. And at least some of that is by design.
The upshot? I think we should take each case one at a time. No sweeping generalizations. An object that appears to violate known physical principles or capabilities is in only ever in ‘apparent violation.’ Perhaps the object is indeed physically real but our common understanding of physics is too limited to describe its behavior. Perhaps the object is physical but it isn’t what it seems to be at all because our detection/reporting/perception of it is misleading us for some reason. Perhaps some of these events are purely mental/spiritual in nature, with zero footprint in the physical world. These are all forms of misunderstanding. And the only way you clear up a misunderstanding is with evidence. In the absence of evidence providing a clear answer, I think approaching it with an open mind is useful.
