FR pulled the 56 post thread regarding the seagull that ate the woman's lobster roll in Maine..it's "under review"....WHY?
Instead of posting in chat why not just ask an admin??
So im seeing keywords like idiotposter, whiner, opus....
Hey i didnt post the seagull eating the lobster roll thread im just curious on what offends the Free Republic moderators so i myself do not make the same mistake in the future.
OK?
edit to all
Oh get over your own self
You post something in news that’s not news. Maybe it was moved to chat. Did you look there before deciding to complain??
Your best bet is to actually contact an admin
Ive often wondered why the FAA allows seagulls to fly around like they own the air. Now it all makes sense.
***********************************
Actually, that’s because the Gulls Roam Open Air Now! (GROAN!) super pac has managed to “finance” legislation that keeps the supervision of Gulls tied up in dispute between the FAA and the Coast Guard.
But there’s also the issue of bribes paid directly to members of the FAA by the gulls themselves. Gulls don’t snatch all those french fries off of sea side tables just for themselves, you know.
My guess it was pulled for review and the admin got busy
and forgot about it. JMO. I suspect it will be restored.
But not in news/activism. Take care and have a nice day.
Good theory. Maybe theyre just sick of stories posted in the wrong categories and just dont feel like explaining. I dont blame them. The lobster roll theft belongs in chat.
Good on you mate.
yea i did and i just want an answer to protect myself is i ever make a similar post that is all.
Plus i’m having fun here...jeez
and what is “NEWS” here on FR anyways....the stupid story is ALL OVER the news, frigging msnbc, cnn and fox are showing the frigging seagull....
lol
Everyone should know their roll.
$21.95 at Fox’s Lobster House in York, ME.
I’m reminded of the story of Tater Tots. They were made from scraps so they were very cheap, but few people bought them. Then somebody had the bright idea to raise the price and they’ve been successful ever since.
“....seagull that ate the woman’s lobster roll in Maine?
I guess the Seagull united organization complained? : )
so?
It got 56 reply’s...
Not frivolous to those freepers.
Anyways everybody here is up in arms over google, facebook twitter etc censoring conservative views and here we are censoring seagull stories that some of us were interested in...on top of that it sort of morphed and became a Maine is a beautiful state thread.
i found it an interesting read.
What is wrong with that?
Was the problem that it was posted in “news”?
I dunno but whatever....
The stupid seagull ate the lobster roll is all over the news, local here in MA, all over cable news..
I know it’s ridiculous but whatever..
seems hypocritical to me..
No science, no technology, no arts, no human interest, no humor.
He/she/it will only admit this if asked directly (which I did). It's not quite as bad as: 'if you don't know what's wrong I'm not telling you!'.
True, it would save all kinds of aggravation and time if the nuke notice had something like "News/Activism is for political news only, please post non-political news in General/Chat." But perhaps the whole point is to aggravate people too stupid to figure it out after 10 or 15 stories in a row were nuked?
Just deal with it, if the story is that important to you just re-post it in General/Chat.
Because the seagull’s name wasn’t Jonathan.
LOL. Love the FR form.
Have you taken the advice of several posters to contact the admins?
If not and you keep commenting about the post being pulled, Im going to suggest youre just trolling for tears...
cause thats the first time a silly or frivolous topic has ever been introduced on FR.
Been there many times...very peaceful serene place.
usually order a hotdog or hamburger though...ain’t no way i’m payin 22 bucks for a lobster roll!
So nice around that area...wish i had the means to live there.
