So thats how the Rev. Al stays so thin.
Al Sharpton outlined a super specific diet and workout regimen that for years has helped him maintain his 130-pound weight in a Q&A with GQ Thursday.
The 64-year-old activist turned MSNBC hosts exercise routine has him up at 4 a.m. seven days a week and he follows a diet that includes three slices of seven-grain toast a day.
I have to stay at a hotel with a fitness room and that also has seven-grain toast, he told the magazine.
Sharpton was once over 300 pounds, but the controversial activist has more than halved his size. Hes made tweaks to his routine along the way. When the New York Times reported on his weight loss efforts in 2005, he exercised three times a week and ate two meals a day.
Hes made dietary tweaks along the way, cutting out chicken and adding juices and toast at the advisement of his doctors.
Today, he has a daily menu of:
A banana at 4:15 a.m.
Some protein powder shortly after
One salad and a slice of toast between 11 a.m. and noon
Two more slices at around 6 p.m.
Fish once a week (He hasnt eaten chicken in seven or eight years.)

I dropped to 142lbs recently and thought I was dying. I just forgot to eat.
AIDS.
A walking textbook case of sarcopenia.
His shirt is appropriate. NaN stands for not a number. It is a numeric data type value representing an unrepresentable value. So he has no value at all.

If he lost all that weight eating seven grain bread, just think how thin he'd be if he ate this instead...
I don’t think insufficient nutrition is Nadler’s problem
I diet like that will suck all the joy out of life.
I guess you missed the latest news a couple days ago...
White Meat May Be as Bad as Red Meat for Cholesterol
Switching from red meat to chicken to keep your cholesterol down may not be a great strategy, according to a new study this Tuesday. It found that peoples blood cholesterol levels rose similarly when they ate a diet filled with either red or white meat, compared to a diet without meat.
I totally disagree. There immense personal satisfaction from setting a healthy weight goal, actually achieving it, and sustaining it. These are very hard things to do. Changing from a very unhealthy lifestyle to a very healthy one creates all sorts of psychic rewards and probably increases one's joy.
I like 5 or 8 grain myself. Too many grains can tax the palate.
No more bread for me. Keto/carnivore for the last year, down 43 pounds.
Just had a physical. A1c is 5.7, so I still have work to do. The report noted Ketones = 1.0 “Abnormal”. :)
Um...”eating disorder” is best to describe his so-called ‘diet’ in consideration of his condition (which is appalling for his age).
Dude has a HUGE head. It’s like an orange on a toothpick!
He likes cocaine more than food.
dead man walkin’! he looks terrible like this.
