A Pennsylvania woman claims she was asked to leave a Golden Corral restaurant last week because she was dressed "too provocatively."
Sueretta Emke said she was dining with her family at a Golden Corral in Erie, Pa. when a manager said her crop top was too inappropriate and some customers had complained. Asked what was inappropriate about her outfit, Emke said the manager couldn’t answer.
Emke wrote on Facebook that the manager’s request probably had more to do with her not being thin, “so it’s not considered sexy.” She said she had seen “people in there wearing less and nothing is said to them.”
“How can you not have a dress code but then make one up for certain customers if another customer complains? That’s not ok. It is discrimination,” Emke said. “And if you are okay with that, where are you going to draw the line?”
Emke told Yahoo Lifestyle she reached out to the regional training manager, who “apologized profusely.” He reportedly told Emke he planned to implement sensitivity training and hire more female managers.

Once upon a time there was a Sweden House all-you-ca-eat buffet established in my town. The food was very good. Over time the lines grew longer and longer and after a year and a half there would be a line way out into the parking lot before the doors even opened and it would be entirely composed of people in the 25# plus range. It closed after two years. My friend's wife said its where all the Eaters went, crowds of hippo people who would eat from open to close.

We have one where I live. It opened about four years ago. The parking lot is full every time I go by, day or night. There is always a line out the door on Sunday morning.
Not my cup of tea, but in the right location it draws a ton of people. I cannot argue with this.
I should open one in my snooty neighborhood (Upper Middle class when I moved here...but now Upper, Upper because the rich kids priced it out of the market over the past 25 years) It would do these folks some good to see “real people”once a while.
I like the corral. Here they bought an out of business hometown buffet. The corral has more variety like steak
And that just shows how far cultural standards have fallen.
Should’ve redirected her to the local Wal-Mart. She’d of been right at home there.
