McDonalds new Worldwide Favorites menu a roundup of the chains alleged top hits abroad proves that the worlds worse off than we knew.
Each of five items, launched this week and inspired by different countries, is awful in its own way. But hideous qualities they all share make it convenient to flush the whole lot down the toilet at once ghastly flavors, sickly mouth feel and industrial-tasting sauces.
If, as McDonalds boasts, Around the world is now around the corner, no one should leave their house.

I know that McDs takes a lot of abuse, but on a cross country car trip, it is about the safest bet you have for not getting food poisoning. I used to have to be the bad guy and tell my wife that some sketchy seafood joint out in the middle of say, Wyoming, (lol) probably wasnt a good idea.
I love cheap junk food.
My biggest problem with these items is they do NOT seem really exotic at all. Seems most,y like things Americans would do. Did Canadians (oooo, so exotic!) really invent bacon cheese fries? Wouldnt we do that anyway?
Looking at those prices, now I know why I don’t go to McDonalds.
Agreed.
I like cheap food. Its great.
I like richer food, too. Its all good. Why do people have to be so hung up on fast food?
One of my kids worked at a McDonald’s a few years back, and told me stories of what happened behind the counter and in the kitchen.
I’ve never set foot in a McDonald’s since then. Only ChikFilA.
Yeah, I agree. But you are paying "rack rate". It's not unusual for the MCD app to have promotions like "Buy one sandwich, get another for 25 cents", or "Buy a medium fry, get free drink", and so forth. These promotions vary by region (some are national), and not all franchises accept them.
Thats just not true in most places. Read another poster above who worked there. Maybe its the town culture.
I worked at Wendys a short time, and while it was funny in places, not really horrifying at all. This was when we had salad bars. Pretty weird, but didnt stop me from eating a salad.
Whats wrong with about $3 per item?
Thats cheaper than you get at the cheap regular diner.
Preach!
I am on my third trip to Australia.
McDonalds is the cheapest restaurant meal you can generally get. (There is a Burger King type competitor that is similar).
If you are willing to pay twice as much, you can get comparable food.
I think the reason is McDonalds is very efficient with their staffing, and Australia has extremely high labor costs.
That is for Manhattan.
Chicken McNuggets are disgusting. Bad, synthetic chicken bits.
Yeah, I think that’s legit. Seems to want any bacon burned to a crisp.
You acted poorly. Just throw them away if they’re not to your taste. Causing that scene was uncalled for.
Sausage and egg McMuffin. Yum! Any time of the day or night. My go to when Im on the road. Cheap and fast.
O.K. I might try one of their fish sandwiches.
