Interesting, that.

The upper-Midwest is experiencing one of the coldest and wettest Springs in recent memory.
And my memory reaches back to 1963.

The pinkos in the so-called “news” media have a lock-step agenda.

From the article:

“The most famous Coronal Mass Ejection occurred in 1859 and caused a geomagnetic storm called the ‘Carrington Event’ as a pulse of charged particles bombarded Earth’s magnetosphere.

“If this happened today, the results would be devastating.

“In April, Nasa wrote: ‘The Carrington Event compressed the Earth’s magnetic field so violently that currents were created in telegraph wires so great that many wires sparked and gave telegraph operators shocks.

“‘Were a Carrington-class event to impact the Earth today, speculation holds that damage might occur to global power grids and electronics on a scale never yet experienced.’”

If I understand correctly we have just begun the solar minimum cycle that will last approximately 11 years. So, in 2030, we may be at risk of getting hit by another Carrington-class event that could create havoc with our electric and electronic systems. We’re doomed. We’re so dependent on wireless communication and data transfer, if there was a major disruptive event, then everything on earth could come to a standstill.

Notice how the maximum level of the Solar Max is dropping. This means we may be headed towards another Maunder Minimum situation on the Sun, and that would be a disaster for Earth's agriculture as we have shorter growing seasons worldwide.

As long as I've been watching solar activity (much via FR for 20 years) there has been discussion of low sunspot activity. Me thinks the 11 year cycling was non-existant last time which is why there has been virtually no warming for 18+ years.

I'd put money on cooling before I'd bet on warming. We'll know if and when solar activity perks up.

“Be a good time to land there.”

AOC said that the best time to land is at night.

Better to land at night, so it won’t be so hot for the astronauts...

So true. We are likely entering a mini ice age similar to what was going on during the American revolution and not ending til after 1814.

Right now in Atlanta we are having a cool spring.

If I understand correctly we have just begun the solar minimum cycle that will last approximately 11 years.

So AOC was correct - in 12 years globull warming will hit us and destroy the earth.

Gosh darn, that AOC sure is a smart gal.
