The solar flare activity has been low for the last several months for the most part. Maybe ole Mr. Sun is just getting a little burned out.

We have seen increased activity during winter when we have experienced unseasonably warm weather.

Dr. Valentina Zharkova has created an amazingly accurate model for the sun’s activity. It says we are in for 400 years of cooling. Very interesting reading.

OK!! Everybody pay attention!
Lesson for today:
1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.
2. The sun is a giant nuclear furnace that controls the climates of all its planets.
3. The earth is one of the suns planets.
4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.
5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.
Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?

On the upside of this, Im an amateur (ham) radio operator and propagation for our radio signals during a solar minimum sucks. Have conditions improved? Or are you just anticipating conditions improving?

The Scientific Method never invokes "consensus" or unproven models. If it did, then sometime in the post-Gallieo era, the sun and planets suddenly stopped revolving around the earth and started revolving around the sun.

We will know it a few months now if the predictions of cycle 25 will be exceptionally weak or not. IF it is this will be interesting.

Don’t be silly. Everyone knows you can only land on the Sun at night.

The last solar cycle was maybe 40% of the previous one, and all indications are that the next one will be quieter.
woodfortrees.org has solar data, sunspots and mean solar output.
