Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, was a no-show at the Buckingham Palace banquet for President Trump’s state visit to England on Monday, after the president called the former American actress “nasty” in an interview with a British newspaper. Markle, who is married to Prince Harry, is on maternity leave after giving birth to their first child, Archie, earlier in May. Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, the wife of Prince William, was in attendance at the banquet as were Trump’s adult children. The American-born Markle also missed a royal luncheon at the palace with Trump and first lady Melania Trump earlier Monday – although Harry attended.

The story was a lie. Trump denied the comment. She proved it was none the less true.
When an interviewer told President Trump some rather unkind things that Meghan allegedly had said about him, Trump replied: "I didn't know she was nasty." He then added: "I wish her well."
This slanted news reporting and disinformation is classic.

Fake news! President Trump did not “call” her “nasty”. He was reflecting on an idiotic reporter’s question using that descriptor, nasty . Nitwittery .

All he said upon being told that she’d said various nasty things about him was that he hadn’t realized she was nasty (meaning in what she said), if that was true, but he thought she was great and would do great as a member of the Royal Family.
Mark Levin played the audio of the interview. The reporter from The Sun asked Trump if he knew about the the nasty comments she had made about him during the campaign.
Trump did not know what he was talking about. In a repeated iteration of the question, Trump said “I didn’t know she was nasty”.
COMPLETELY fabricated. Trump was responding to THE REPORTER’s characterization of her comments. Trump said he didn’t know. He was complimentary of her.

MM is a narcissist first and foremost....everything is ALL about her....poor Harry...what a hellish pit he fell into....
