[history]
A teenager survived a shark attack off a North Carolina beach Sunday, but doctors had to amputate her left leg, according to the family.
Paige Winter, 17, was in the ocean off Fort Macon State Park when she was attacked by a shark just after noon Sunday, according to a statement from Vidant Medical Center.

For those folks who live in the area and frequent bodies of water, there are sunglasses that allow you to see whats in the water. My daughter had a pair, and could see sharks and dolphins in the wave curls at Myrtle beach.
She tried to tell people, but they didn’t believe her.
I’m not sure which brand they were, only that she paid good money for them.
Be careful out there! We are small and fragile, they are big and hungry. And ladies, be extra vigilant if you’re on your monthly no matter what form of protection you use. Animals can smell that blood, and react to it in various ways.

All the ‘odds of being eaten by a shark’ stats that liberals post everywhere are pure bS.
They count people that are nowhere close to a ocean, never have been, and never will be.
I don’t know what the real odds are, but if you spend much time in the ocean, especially in the evenings, your chances of being on the menu are pretty damn good.

If you want to know if the water contains sharks, taste the water. If it tastes salty, there are sharks.

Im not sure which brand they were, only that she paid good money for them.Any polarized lens will do the trick. The better ones are worth spending the money on. Fishermen have known this for many, many decades.

I wouldn’t be surprised. People release Piranhas in Florida into the lakes and rivers after they get tired of them or if they have to move................
