Full title:
The train system which operates the bridge even planned to close the tracks to rescue her, while the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) was also present.
But when firefighters had decided to give up for the day, vowing to return Thursday, the cat, who had been missing for two weeks before turning up on the bridge, returned home on Wednesday night, according to the Plymouth Herald.
Kirsty Howden, Hattys owner, said the cat walked into the garden of her home in Saltash.
She said the cat had just strolled past fire and media crews. ...
She is a bit skinny and smelly, very vocal and has now headed upstairs and put herself to bed.

How should I know??
:)
Bridge cat gets bored returns to its original gig as ceiling cat.
Cats ass trophy ?
lol that’s not nice :)
FUNNY, but not nice :)
Read somewhere recently that the way to get a cat to come home was to pet another cat where it could be seen by the errant one.
I believe that. Our girl is so jealous!
Yeah, it a bit of a chore sometimes with them but... One of them is a little wee one we call “Peanut’’. She showed up at our back door four years ago, little bigger than a kitten with her right hind leg busted clean in two. Wife and I took to vet. They put a splint on the leg hoping the bone would fuse back together but it didn’t. Had to be amputated. Hasn’t slowed Peanut down. Sure wish we could get them to use the bowl.
You ever see a cat skeleton in a tree???
We have one who stopped growing after about twelve weeks. Perfectly proportioned, but she only weighs about three pounds, tops. You could put her on a shelf in a Hallmark store, and never even notice her - she’d look like one of the figurines in there.
I will need photos for verification.
That’s hilarious!
Purrrrrfect!
“Nah, youre a sweetheart ; )”
Kidding aside, very active in animal rescue. I’ve got my projects done for today and Mongo (my 110 lb gentle giant Rottweiler) and I are kicking back on the deck with a good IPA, some cheese and crackers, and some chicken gizzards for him.
“If you take in a poor sick starving dog, feed him, heal him, and make him prosperous he will not bite you. This is the principle difference between a dog and a man.” Mark Twain
Just goes to prove: “You can get a cat to do anything you want it to, provided it feels like it.”!!!
Why did you say 7.5k. Its 7,500
I needed to shorten the title so that the thread would post. k = 1,000
Re: I needed to shorten the title so that the thread would post. k = 1,000
Actually, I made the switch as a first step, before I took out some of the words, which left extra room. So it probably would have fit. Just didn’t think to put it back as it was: $7,500.
Good boy! ; )
I try to forget there are people like that out there, too. I doubt they've ever given anyone as much joy as a loving pet can.
