Veteran journalist Bob Woodward said he is not confident that special counsel Robert Mueller did a exhaustive job in his investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.
In a podcast interview last week with former Obama adviser David Axelrod, Woodward said the Mueller case lacks the kind of solid evidence from the Watergate scandal — mainly the thousands of hours of Nixon tapes — that could be used to determine President Trump had obstructed justice.
"Quality of evidence, as you know, really matters," said the Washington Post associate editor, who said he has read the Mueller report twice.
Asked if he though Mueller did a thorough job, Woodward said, "No. I found people who Mueller didn't interview." In the podcast, Woodward did not elaborate on who these individuals might be, and the video of the discussion posted on YouTube by host University of Chicago Institute of Politics, cuts this part out completely. The conversation moves on to Woodward talking about his book, Fear, which focused on the inner workings of the Trump White House.

I want Bob Mueller to testify in open Congress more than I want to be nominated for sainthood. I genuinely hope that is Trump’s strategy - because Mueller is without the protection of the Bush cadre once he’s under oath, and Biden was not cut-out of Insurance Policy discussions.

Woodward is setting a new narrative for Democrats and the Democratic Media Complex; Mueller didn't do a full investigation.
This will now enter the news cycle and become a talking point.
even if we were to just wall them into WashDC and move our government elsewhere, perhaps to some more conveniently located middle part of USA...?

Bob Woodward is not a lawyer, hell, he isn’t even very much of a “Jornullist”. The list of people chosen by Mueller was not to prove or disprove guilt, but to foreclose any defense on the part of Team Trump.
The best they could do was to send some ricochets off the 24-inch cold-rolled titanium alloy steel armor plate that protects the underbelly of Team Trump. A couple got caught in the shrapnel, but no damage was done to the central figure in the story.

Woodward wrote this to encourage the Dems in Congress to pursue impeachment. Woodward used a psychiatric patient, Bob Jackson, as his “informed sources” to claim John Tower was a drunken womanizer. This derailed Senator Tower’s nomination for Secretary of defense. The next day the Post printed a retraction. Reliable sources who do not wish to be named claim Mueller did not interview Bigfoot.
Give him some credit. Not many people in Washington can say that.
Mueller wasn’t the only interviewer. Did not Wissmann interview people?
