Hey Where do they put gas NO LID?

Not sure if you are really asking, or if you are just being sarcastic. So I'll give you a straight answer:

Look behind the license plate.

If GM made a new retro version of that car, they would kill it in the marketplace. Assuming it was done right, of course. We are talking about GM, after all. I still cringe when I think about my friend’s parents who traded a mint ‘69 Caprice Coupe for a brand new 1980 Citation. Whoops! Just goes to show how far they fell in just 11 years.

My ‘66 was light metallic silver with a black rag top and red vinyl interior.

Wonderful memories for me. The first new car my father ever bought was a 1956 Chevy Bel Air. I was 16 at the time and got to drive it a lot. I tried to talk him into buying a hardtop model, but he went for the sedan.

Those two tone deals were fugly even back when they were the think. Dad had a 56 Ford something in white and black. Called it “Scotty”.

I could understand some not liking the black and greenish yellow two-tone color scheme at the top. But I'd have trouble believing anyone here would not like the one in my post 53.

First car I can remember in my family was a 1956 Chevy Bel-Air wagon. The exterior was the typical Chevy blue and white color scheme with blue vinyl interior.
