A Benton, Illinois, mother was shocked when she saw a kids shirt she had ordered for her three-year-old daughter from a Chinese retailer featured an iconic NWA lyric: "F*** the police."
Kelsey Dawn Williamson, 23, told BuzzFeed News that while the shirt certainly doesnt represent her daughter's view of police enforcement, she still can't stop laughing at the situation.
Williamson believed that the order she placed through AliExpress would feature just the characters of the classic children's books, Frog and Toad by Arnold Lobel. The mother has ordered from the retailer before for her daughter, Salem, and has never experienced an issue.
"Salem probably has 50-plus different little boutique outfits from my favorite store on AliExpress," the mom told the outlet.
When she received the package in the mail, much to her and her husband's surprise, she saw that Salem's shirt featured the profane slogan.
"I literally did not know how to react so I just took a few moments to stare at it and try to process," Williamson said. "Of all the things they could have added, why that? On a children's size shirt?"

The joys of ordering online from overseas companies.
DANG!
There was a time when people understood that words have meanings, and used the correct one:
Profane: “Irreverent in language; taking the name of God in vain”
When you order online or from a catalogue, they usually have the picture of the item. In this case, I think the slogan would have been visible online, so she could have seen it, before ordering. Maybe she was just not paying enough attention.
So she dresses her daughter with it.
the pic in the catalog did not have the words, just a nice pic of frog and toad.
“In this case, I think the slogan would have been visible online, so she could have seen it, before ordering. Maybe she was just not paying enough attention.”
In this case there is a photo of the cataloged item. Maybe you were just not paying enough attention.
That is terrible. As I said, the picture in the catalog is usually accurate. If it didn’t show the words in this case, she could send it back, problem is, she would have to pay for the return postage and take it to the office. And I can see that could be more trouble than it’s worth. Easier to just ignore it.
No she would call customer service and they would send Fedex to pick it up and send her several shirts for free as an apology
And somewhere in the hood, there are some parents who are very disappointed their baby received a Frog and Toad T-shirt.
This aint what I ordered.
I am dying laughing here. This is hilarious! I do not remember that particular story with Frog and Toad but Im pretty sure it was one of the ones where Toad was drinking heavily and stole a car.
NWA = NorthWest Airlines?
Never mind the fomaldehyde that they used as sizing.
It would be better if the shirt read “**** China”.
The kid will outgrow the shirt in a few days.
Then send it back.
