Behavioral scientist Paul Dolan revealed that traditional benchmarks, such as marriage and children, were no longer signs of fulfillment and don't line up with happiness.
“The healthiest and happiest population subgroup are women who never married or had children,” he said when speaking at the Hay Festival in the United Kingdom over the weekend.
According to Dr. Dolan, men tended to benefit from marriage because it reduced “risk-taking” behaviors and “calms them down” a bit. “You earn more money at work, and you live a little longer,” he added. “As for your calming, un-risky wife? Well, she, on the other hand, has to put up with that, and dies sooner than if she never married.” …

Women were put on this earth to bear children so EVERY woman, no matter how screwed up should have at least one. Adoption. She’ll go to bed every night crying over giving up the child. Those that have had abortions will cry but only when it’s convenient.

Women has superior social skills to men and have a richer single life. Once married, the man’s social circle tends to go away so that married guys rely on the wife to keep them social, which burdens her.
Screwed-up women have screwed-up kids, and there are too many of those these days. Bad idea.

That’s why it isn’t meant to be done alone. At least that’s what I was always taught.

Wrong! single childless women just have different stress - doing many many things on their own that would be sooo much easier with a spouse or committed man or various stages of kids.
Single childless women don’t get many perks married w/child women get - like boarding some airlines in the “traveling with children” category while others have to wait for group B or C - sounds stupid but it’s one “with child” perk. why do they get to cut in line just because they have little kids? why not give a perk to those who are single or raised kids traveling without them?
Not only boarding earlier but also I’ve seen them get special treatment at security check line.
People with kids some times get special parking ability. Some times special pricing when eating out or buying vacations.
Tax benefits.

God gives every single person their apportioned lot of stress and it’s always borderline all you can manage, and then some.

Being single and childless, I totally disagree with this kook author. Then, hasn’t it been the norm that husbands pass away before the wives?
Which leads me to... I have observed, in my town, widows are the happiest.

Until they turn 60. Then, they are desolate and miserable, looking for people’s lives to ruin.
