I bet there’s a little history behind this.
And it’s not that shocking for a high school student, even if impolite and unprofessional.

Melinda Smith, the students mother, just because my son was hitting the pipe before school and daydreaming about porn and video games instead of doing his assignment doesn’t mean you should call him out on it.
Gimme a break, just suspend the kid already

Further evidence of the culture swirling down the toilet. Pushed by the boob tube, Hollywierd, and social media. No moral compass with a sizable part of the citizenry, and willing to repeat any mindless gutter language they see or hear.
We may have already slouched beyond Gomorrah.

If the work is as incoherent as the comment makes it out to be than the student is not only wasting his and the teachers time but disrespecting the teacher.
In light of the actual work, which the mom seems to agree was not worth the credit, I find the comment wholly appropriate.

"news" like this does no good to promote a virtuous and normal civil discourse. WTF do I care what a teacher writes on one student's homework? This is not to say that this teacher is not out of line... but it should be a local story at best, or between the parent and the teacher/principal.
We've come a long way since reading about Mable's flu in New Orlean's around here near Boston, on the local telegraph in the mid-1800's.

If the work sucked, wtf isnt the worst thing to write.
If the kid is habitually handing in lousy and lazy work, I like it.
The world is a mother.
Welcome them to it early.
Too much coddling as it is.
