Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) will be a thorn in the side of the Democratic nominee for president — especially if it’s former Vice President Joe Biden. The Democrats worry that Sanders won’t be a team player if he loses, and that he and his supporters will be particularly problematic if Biden or another rival seen as out of step with progressives comes out on top. “I think Bernie will do everything in his power to elevate himself by pushing others down,” said one aide to a Democratic senator.

I think many of the dimms have much greater concerns at the moment than Bernie Sanders.
Above all, liberals hate Trump. This is the purpose of the party now. This is their policy objective, to hate Trump. They will get behind whoever is the front runner.
Biden is soft in the head. His groping is a sideshow. The man is half of what he was just 8 years ago. He cannot handle the next 10 months of brutal primary campaigning. It will show. And the Dems will have a panicked choice to make. Bernie is well-poised for this. He’s old too, but still sharp as a tack, like Trump.
Bernie’s got THE defining issue for Democrat primary voters in 2020: “Hey, I’m going to pay off your student loans!”
Maybe they can ask Hillary and Bubba to “take care of the problem”.
If he gets far enough in the the process they’ll screw him again, 100% guaranteed. We’ll see whether he they can, though bribes intimidation or whatever they did last time, make him bend over and take it again. I hope he doesn’t.

Isn’t there a socialist party? Bernie was not elected senator as a Democrat, so he’s not really officially in the Democrat party in the first place.
And............. Bernie may have the AOC endorsement.
Biden won’t last long in the race, leaving Bernie and Kamala to duke it out with Kamala getting the nod from the DNC. However, she’s so negative and hateful, she will lose the election.
