Authorities say a ball python slithered out of a toilet and bit a South Florida man on the arm.
Coral Springs police spokesman Chris Swinson said the man was treated at the scene after the 4-foot (1.2-meter) snake bit him when he lifted the toilet seat on Sunday morning. The snake is nonvenomous.

“I found out about snake bite antivenom, tetanus shots and rabies shots to the stomach.”
Why the rabies shot? Never heard of snakes carrying rabies.
We seem to have an unlimited supply of little brown scorpions at the Lake...
hahahahahahahah that’s hilarious!
What if it had recently had a rabid animal in its jaws...I suppose it is possible.
This is it!!!
The moment when Mother Nature begins to fight back against Florida Man.
I live in Iowa where the winters keep critters to a tolerable size and numbers.

Maybe they wanted to make the experience as unpleasant as possible. That way the kid would learn not to do something so stupid as trying to grab a snake out of the toilet. “That’ll learn him”.
Alligators aren’t predators?
Lol, cant rule that out either...
Its like they say: In Florida, even the loo is coming for you. Okay.. so they dont actually say that, but they should.
I hate snakes.
Could it happen in YOUR home? Best to live in a 3rd floor apartment unless the water heater in the apartment above collapses.
Lucky he wasn’t sitting down or the snake could have snagged a couple of cojones.

Zebra mussels came to the great lakes years ago. In Lake St. Clair, they exploded and were a big problem for a number of years but their number tapered off and native fish such as perch were found eating the smaller ones.
They also have had a major positive effect on the clarity of the lake water since they filter out the particles that make the lake dirty........
This happens a lot in Florida.
Happened to my next door neighbor.
Small king snake (non venemos but hurts like Heck), bit him on the hand.
5.56mm
On the *arm*????
This is what happens when you let government treatment plants handle your waste. You hook up to a line that lets snakes in.
A snake isn’t likely to get into an underground septic tank and make its way to the house.

While there is no doubt that pet pythons have long been released into the wild, Hurricane Andrew in '92 hit a Burmese Python breeding facility which ramped up the problem very quickly.
I'm familiar with the infestations in Duluth/Superior. They are migrating up the St Louis River and have spread to the St Croix/Mississippi River systems via boaters and are being spread by the barges traveling on the river. You are welcome to all of ours.

"Zebra mussels arrived in the ballast water of transoceanic ships in 1989. They are clogging water intake pipes across the Great Lakes and eating plankton needed by young fish. Some companies are spending up to $2 million annually to control this exotic mussel. Zebra mussels attach to hard surfaces, such as boat hulls and motors, and can also attach to aquatic plants. Microscopic larvae can be transported in water in bait buckets, live wells and bilges..."
They are a curse that is slowly spreading into freshwater lakes and rivers, competing all too successfully with the native mussels.
