ouse Intelligence Chairman and Russia hoax perpetuator Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) urged top intelligence officials to resign if pressure to declassify key Russia documents became too great. Schiff told the New York Times that CIA Director Gina Haspel and Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats should follow former Defense Secretary James Mattis’ lead and resign if they are asked to do things that jeopardize intelligence community members. “If it gets to a point they are asked to do things that are unlawful or jeopardize the men and women that work within the I.C., they should speak out and, if necessary, follow the example of Secretary Mattis,” said Schiff.

Well, Haspel was in London with the CIA when British intel was eyeballs deep in the dossier coup attempt, Steele, Stephen Halpert, etc....

Haspel was the station chief in London for a while, but she not there during the period of time you're referring to.

No doubt she's familiar with all the British actors in the failed soft-coup, but her direct involvement has not been established.

If Haspel is a bad apple then by proxy so is Pompeo, who pushed for her promotion to CIA Director.

I only -barely- trust Pompeo. And say what we will about proving her involvement. She has zone ZERO to clean house. There is no public support for Trump policies, there have been no arrests of CIA plotters. She is slow walking the declassification and resisting it.

I'll disagree...for example Haspel reached out to retired career CIA officer Vaughn Bishop to become Deputy Director. This is someone well outside the circle of Brennan syncophants. Granted, Trump made the appointment but its hard to imagine he knew much about Bishop before. Haspel also shuns publicity and has drawn Central Intelligence back into the shadows...where frankly it belongs.
