Left-wing actress Alyssa Milano slammed veteran actor Jon Voights recent remarks praising President Donald Trump, calling the Academy Award-winning star an F-lister trying to stay relevant.
The response from the Twitterverse however was not what she intended.
In a pair of videos entitled To my fellow Americans, Voight lauded President Trump for confronting creeping leftism in the United States and their absurd words of the destruction. The Ray Donovan star also called Trump the greatest president since Abraham Lincoln. Ive said this once and Ill say it again, that our nation has been built on the solid ground from our forefathers. And there is a moral code of duty that has been passed on from President Lincoln, he said.
Alyssa Milano took to social media to criticize Voights remarks, saying: Now I understand why Republicans like to discredit actors and our political views. Stay in your lane, Jon! Has been! F-lister trying to stay relevant!

I never even heard of this skank until she started making a fool of herself by displaying her warped ignorant political views.
Jon Voight is great as Mickey Donavan in “Ray Donovan.” I can’t say I cared too much for most of the movies I saw with him, but that wasn’t because of his acting. I just didn’t care for those movies.

Alyssa Milano isn’t fit to highlight Jon Voight’s script pages.

But there seems to have been an actual decline in rational thinking. The United States had become a place where entertainers like Alyssa Milano and professional athletes were mistaken for people of importance. They were idolized and treated as leaders; their opinions were sought on everything and they took themselves just as seriously after all, if an athlete is paid a million or more a year, he knows he is important
so his opinions of foreign affairs and domestic policies must be important, too, even though he proves himself to be both ignorant and subliterate every time he opens his mouth. (Most of his fans were just as ignorant and unlettered; the disease was spreading.) ― Robert A. Heinlein, To Sail Beyond the Sunset

JV made a lot of crappy movies. He got sense relatively late in life, starting around age 50.

He good in everything. I’m old enough to remember how truly outstanding he was in “Coming Home”, “Deliverance” and of course “Midnight Cowboy”!

I just didn’t like “Coming Home” and definitely not “Midnight Cowboy.” I can’t even remember him in “Deliverance” (time to watch that movie again).
He was decent in “Return of Lonesome Dove,” but his performance pales compared to Tommy Lee Jones’ in “Lonesome Dove.”
I checked his filmography. He has quite the body of work, most about which I never hear.
His brother wrote the song “Wild Thing.”

I predict that actor’s opinions will become less and less relevant (and frequent) as more people shift to subscription services that offer quality independent and foreign movies that depend on plot and narrative rather than actor fans for their audience. At some point, Hollywood will deservedly die.
