It's Newsweak so expect biased and negative tone. But point is: Trump's election victory made huge waves overseas and Bannon's insights and advice have been sought by leaders of populist movements all over Europe...He has even been invited as a guest of honor to places like Japan by major business leaders to explain the whole phenomenon.

Hilarious that Newsweak thinks Bannon and Trump aren’t still friends, or communicate regularly.

He messed things up in the Alabama Senate race. Hope he does better in Europe.

Bannon had a big day yesterday. Good for him. I have been listening to videos by him and the people doing the interviewing treat him like thrash. He had his revenge yesterday.

(Because itÂ’s being reported that a lot of this started in 2015.)

Looking at how fiercely Macron criticized Bannon, tells he must have been astoundingly effective
To: CondoleezzaProtege
Stay away from Bannon
He contributes nothing

Bannon is brilliant, and Trump listened to the swamp creatures to get rid of him.
“Sloppy Steve” still kicks @ss.

I agree. Bannon is very bright and a force to be reckoned with. Its silly to think he and Trump aren’t allies.

Stay away from Bannon. He contributes nothing Except this.
Former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon has pledged to unite Europes far-right into an international alliance of populists,
And this.
Leading political scientist Ivan Krastev has argued that Bannons form of populism is likely to be the major alternative to liberalism in the coming decades.
... the European Parliamentary elections will be the first test of whether his strategy is bearing fruit.
Pick up a paper and read about the results of the European Parliamentary elections yesterday.
Farage/Brexit Party/UK.
LePen/France.
Contributes nothing, you say?

He messed things up in the Alabama Senate race. Hope he does better in Europe.Hopefully he collected invaluable learned lessons from the Alabama debacle like ensuring the candidate you backed wasn't banging teenagers as a grown man (except in Europe where this would've actually been a résumé enhancer).

Alabama and Bannon’s being kicked out of US politics was the price Trump paid to get McTurtle behind his agenda. And Bannon and Trump knew that from the beginning. Mission accomplished, IMHO.
