President Donald Trumps state visit to the U.K. next month will be dominated by events with Britains royal family, according to a new schedule released Friday by Buckingham Palace. The schedule was released just hours after British Prime Minister Theresa May announced Friday that she will resign effective June 7, just two days after the president, first lady Melania Trump and Trumps adult children depart the U.K. The high number of events with the royal family in part reflects the fact that the presidents visit this time is his first official state visit, and Queen Elizabeth II is the head of state.

I think Princess Sparkles is limiting exposure so she can maximize the impact when she does select a moment to zing some photos out on Instagram. She chooses her moments to torpedo other royals' activities, such as acting all preggers with an unbuttoned coat at Princess Eugenie's wedding, when she wasn't even showing yet, but the international press was there. Then last weekend another of Harry's cousins was married in the same chapel at Windsor in a really beautiful wedding, prettier than either Harry's or Eugenie's weddings in the same location, so Megs shoved a bunch of her own wedding pix onto Instagram because anniversary. She has no idea whatsoever how low Harry ranks in royal protocol, and just keeps acting the pop star. He is headed for the emotional wood chipper in a couple of years' time. She will drop him cold like she dropped her first husband(s) and her own father.
Supposedly, what they showed to the press is one of those “reborn” baby dolls. Depending on their quality, they can look exactly like a newborn, especially if you want to fool a couple of reporters for 5 minutes. The “baby” never moved at all.
That wasn’t outside the hospital, btw. That was at Windsor Castle where they met the press. No hospital has ever confirmed she gave birth there. No doctors are associated with the birth.
The Queen advises the Prime Minister on policy and the PM knows her opinion on most issues. and this can be quite influential.
The monarch holds a weekly audience with the prime minister; no records of these audiences are taken and the proceedings remain fully confidential. She influences policy via the Prime Minister informally.
Well, nothing those people do would surprise me.
It is window dressing, so that the people don't burn the palace down and drive the RF out with pitchforks.
It should be an incredible couple of days! And what meaningful timing too, given that it is the 75th Anniversary of the D-Day landings. Wow. God Bless America and God Save the Queen!
“The British royals are now basically marionettes on a string, like their European, Japanese and Thai counterparts and everywhere that powerless constitutional monarchs exist.”
I used to think that but I’m not so sure anymore. Any family with that much wealth and historic social status/connections is likely wielding more influence than the general public is aware. In theory, they have relinquished all their political power to elected politicians. But we know the sad truth is that politicians can be and easily are bought. The British Royal family simply moved into the background to wield their power behind the scenes, away from public scrutiny, along with other old money shadow brokers (e.g. The Rothschilds, and others).
He should just blurt it out during dinner like he did in Europe re: nato money. Everyone just sat there flabbergasted, having been put on the spot with cameras rolling
The royal family listens to their bankers, the Rothchilds
I would love him to say, “After your Majesty’s MI-6 agency did Obamas dirty work to usurp me from my duly elected office using the criminally fraudulent Steele report , please explain your governments initiative to leave the EU and take part in our booming Trump economy ?
And they all still wield the power of the sword. People can disappear.
Not really. The royal families of many countries still wield power and influence. Many still privately wield the power of the sword.
Charles’ mare should be wearing a harness. Ugly old mistress. She and her Tampon Prince will fit right in with England’s history of selfish, immoral, debased dimwits.
And yet I wasn't talking about many countries. I was talking about UK. They are at the point of a sword themselves, and they appease. You don't see our CURRENT president and flotus going over there and dressing like dhimmis.
“People can disappear.”
Or die in car crashes.
exactly.
