Former acting FBI director Andrew McCabe claimed he made the decision to remove Peter Strzok from Special Counsel Robert Muellers team in the summer of 2017 after a series of anti-Trump text messages surfaced between the former FBI special agent and another official with whom he was romantically involved. It was long thought that Mueller had Strzok removed after the texts between him and Lisa Page were uncovered. But McCabe's apparent role was revealed in a newly released transcript from his House Judiciary Committee interview on Dec. 21, 2017.

So who was supervising. Rosenstein or McCabe or was it the usual DC CF with everyone and no one in charge.
All are generals in their self-righteous war against Trump and America.
They’ll figure it out as soon as they find out who hired Craig Livingstone
I don’t know who was supervising...but if sure sounds like Mueller was something of a figure head.
More like a D*CKHEAD
Hands in the cookie jar.
This establishes that Mueller might have been Special but he wasn’t Independent. What was that Lincoln quote, “Government for the Swamp, by the Swamp, of the Swamp”?
Strzok seems to be the quintessential bureaucratic rat. He’s spent his life in DC and government agencies, and from his texts and attitude, seems to be like a high school gadfly who wants to who everyone in the lunchroom is sitting with, and what they are talking about.
And beyond that pole-climbing sliminess, he just doesn’t seem very smart. which is also bizarre considering he was supposedly the chief spy-catcher of the FBI.
“which is also bizarre considering he was supposedly the chief spy-catcher of the FBI.”
Yeah, lots of success there.
Nunes and Grassly did an exceptional job exposing these rats. There is a lot to complain about the Republican congress, but exposing the outline of Obama’s coup is not one of them.
The disastrous appointment of Sessions becomes more apparent every day. Why did he recuse himself 5 minutes into the job? I bet he was blackmailed by the deep state to stand down.
Spot on. The tell was how the media went on and on as a single voice that Mueller, a lifelong republican, a man of impeccable character. Above reproach. Former Marine. Served under Ike! Fair! etc ad nauseum. . . so if thats true, why an army of Clinton lawyers doing the work?
Mueller was there to lend an aura of legitimacy to the 2 year witch hunt that ended with typical Clinton / Obama results- a complete flustercluck, clash of entitled, arrogant egos and another Zero inspired EPIC FAIL
Wait, McCabe had personnel authority over the special counsel’s office?
No one in our government is ever held responsible, or if it happens (rare as pulling hens teeth as my 80+ years young great auntie used to say) the agency claims corrective measures were taken, so as to assure the agents involved, after being placed on administrative leave, were given new assignments.
This time, were demanding actual heads to roll, agents named, charged with felonies, brought to public trials in open court, handcuffed, then given stiff sentences in hard core federal prisons for decades, their wealth confiscated and paid by the guilty to those they actually deprived of their rights, reputations, and wealth!
No longer are those fines going to be given back to the same agencies that have allowed their employees to lie, cheat and steal from We the People!
Time has long ago passed that entire top leadership in many worthless agencies, be given options of voluntarily retiring to spend more time with their families, or realize their entire departments are being shut down, to cut spending so that tax cuts to precious taxpayers are more important than to fund worthless agencies!
BUMP! Agree 100%. It’s time the responsible parties took some responsibility.
FYI, I believe it is a crime to lie to congress, period. Being under oath doesn’t matter here.
It may be a crime to lie TO congress, but not IN congress.
Hubby insists they will not, their crimes (if ever exposed) get lumped on non-white patsies like McCabe, who actually answered to Loretta Lynch!
