An emotional Emilia Clarke paid tribute to Daenerys Targaryen, her former cast-mates and her late father on Sunday evening as fans digested the dramatic finale of HBOs long running fantasy drama, Game Of Thrones. Millions stayed up late to watch as the show came to an end after nine years, eight season and hundreds of brutal deaths, but many were underwhelmed by its final episode, which included plenty of shock moments and one unfortunate editing gaffe.

We’re happy, then, to have your baseless comments on the series. We find them so meaningful.
Ah, yes, a story! Entertainment! I thought the entire series was very well done.
Did you watch "The Last Kingdom" on Netflix? That one was very well done as a historical/drama piece.
I also though the entire series was well done and grossly entertaining. The ending didn’t disappoint me. I grant the production team their poetic license. Anytime I think I can do better, well, I’ll just go out there and make these myself. ;-D
Nothing like limiting the scope of your entertainment.
I agree. Here they come in ignorance, just to offer their unfounded opinions. How soulless can they be? They are acting just like our Congressional mis-representatives.
I think it is because Jon is of the same bloodline as Dany.
It is refreshing to see someone actually commenting about the show rather than proudly declaring ignorance.
For crying out loud, why do those people think their uniformed opinion adds anything to the thread? I bet they vote the same way.
The last season was rushed, but it suited me alright. Most of what happened in the last episode was a surprise; and, I think that was wonderful. It it weren't for that those other people would be bitching that the show was too predictable.
No I didn’t watch that either.
I think Drogon came off as a little too sophisticated a thinker in that scene. He lets Jon live, presumably because he senses that he's a Targaryon. So, instead of barbecuing him for killing his "mother", he makes a commentary of sorts as to what he (a dragon) thinks about thrones by melting the throne.
I think he let Jon live because the writers had decided Jon does not die. I would have preferred to see Jon run for it when he sees Drogon opening his mouth and the fire starting. The fire could follow Jon as he flees though hallways (what's left of them) until Jon runs into the arms of Grey Worm's guards. Drogon could then continue melting the throne and anything else in sight and then flying off with her body. I think they made Drogon a little deeper than he really was in that scene.
My only memory of the TV series is the lovely Summer Glau...who, IIRC, was also in an episode of the vastly underrated "Chuck"
Interesting take. I’ve always assumed that dragons are smart magical creatures, just like the one in “Dragon Heart”. So, I thought his torching the Iron Throne was a decent foretaste of what came later.
So, why do you come here to comment on things you don't know? Is it some sort of show of superiority or purity, a way to chastise us for our Godless ways? Please explain yourself. Inquiring minds like to know.
They are trying to show everybody their moral superiority. Nothing more.
I think it is because Jon is of the same bloodline as Dany.
I was waiting for the dragon to attempt the incineration of Jon, but I was thinking since Jon actually rode a dragon, and also loved Dany, the dragon recognized that and spared him.
Ive had enough entertainment for multiple lifetimes. :)
