President Trump on Sunday criticized Fox News, accusing the network of "wasting airtime" over its coverage of South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg and other Democratic 2020 contenders. "Hard to believe that @FoxNews is wasting airtime on Mayor Pete, as Chris Wallace likes to call him," he wrote, referring to Buttigieg and the Fox News host. Fox News is scheduled to host a town hall with Buttigieg on Sunday night.
Trump: "They forgot the people who got them there. Chris Wallace said, 'I actually think, whether you like his opinions or not, that Mayor Pete has a lot of substance...fascinating biography.' Gee, he (Chris Wallace) never speaks well of me - I like Mike Wallace better... and Alfred E. Newman will never be President!" Trump added, doubling down on his comparison of the mayor to the character Alfred E. Neuman who appears on the cover of Mad Magazine.
Wallace last month praised the mayor as having "interesting, refreshing ideas" and more "substance" than former Rep. Beto O'Rourke (D-Texas), another White House hopeful. The Fox News anchor is the son of legendary "60 Minutes" correspondent Mike Wallace, who died in 2012.
The Democratic National Committee announced in March that it would not allow Fox News to host any of its presidential primary debates this cycle, pointing to an explosive New Yorker article detailing deep ties between the conservative network and Trump's White House.

Trump’s criticism can only elevate the person he criticizes so is this a subtle way of Trump boosting Mare Pete’s campaign?
There are legit complaints about Fox News but using their 24/7 air time to spell out Democrat candidates positions is not one of them.
The GOP had 16 candidates in 2016 so it’s a public service that they give each a platform, particularly the ones in the top half of the polls, so voters can make up their minds about them. I think it is only fair Fox News does the same thing with Democrat candidates in 2020. I’m not bothered by this at all.

Also, why didn’t Wallace ask Buttigieg and audience if they’re ok with NY, Calif, Mass and large states always election POTUS? Guess, smaller states and unborn babies have no value to Buttigieg.

I’ve turned FNC off except for a Fox and Friends. Got rid of xfinity and had Direct TV INSTALLED, NOW I watch OAN.
They didn’t waste my airtime. I change the channel, refused to be indoctrinated.
The Fox News Network does not have deep ties with President Trump; far from it. Sean Hannity has an affinity with the president. Others support Trump but cannot be said to have close ties; still others are hostile to the president.
If it’s any consolation, Beta Boy is as much of an entitled, arrogant and malignant narcissist as most any Sodomite such as Buttgiggity.
