If anyone was going to feel the pain of the tariffs youd think it wouldve been Walmart.
Well I did hear on the radio yesterday that wally world will be raising prices but will try to do what they can to make it less painful for their customers. We shall see.
When it goes down the media cries doom. When it goes up, they say nothing.
They want the market to die (except I'll bet the individual members of the media haven't yet counted the cost to their net worths).
Thinking out loud here, this may be one of the Achilles' heels of the communist movement in America.
Butt, butt, butt china tarrifs-————Trump will bring the market crashing down, etc., etc.
The evil Walmart now has order your groceries online and pick them the next day for free.
We did this on Friday, and there was one minor error.
This morning we will pick up another order.
I don’t imagine we’ll ever shop for groceries online. If Mrs. abb doesn’t get to her twice weekly Wally World trip fix, she get really grouchy.
I heard somebody on TV grumbling about Uber stock declining from its initial public offering price, and how a number of investors are under water, etc.
Like any other investment, the market will determine what investors think Uber is worth, as a business , as a going concern.
So, are the participants employees or contractors? Just think how awesome it will be if uber drivers join a union. That’ll makes things better. LOL!
My wife fit your wife’s description.
Then, she saw how easy it was to pick up the order.
So, now she will go in with her list and look around, and I will place pickup orders for 2 or 3 of our regular useable/consumables per week.
I’ve got it down to going for groceries and such at Wal-Mart once a month. The gas saved and reduced risk of getting plowed into on the highway is appreciated.
Liz Warren might go on the warpath... 😋
Walmart, the store everyone hates, but they are okay...
