The plastic lip on the spout of my coffee pot broke when it hit he floor now i can't pour a cup without it going everywhere. I keep seeing super glue being used to close flesh wounds but nothing about it being ingested.
Can i just glue the plastic piece back on and be all set or would that be a bad idea?
Yea i probably will.
I do remember a giant Great Dane soon replacing the poodle.
Maybe that was the reason why..
try the super glue and baking soda trick it is unbelievable many you tubes about it,..i used it to temporarily seal a busted radiator hose and it worked well. supposedly its what they use to fix nicks in airplane propellers
Walmart right up the street.
I’ll have to bring the old one with me to make sure the height triggers that valve below the filter thingy.
Do you ever microwave food or drink in plastic containers? If so, don’t worry about a touch of super glue.
Wow. I still can't believe that. But yours and several other commenters here have me slowly coming around.
Do you know if same goes for Crazy Glue?
It is poisonous only in California. With that said, go buy a new pot.
What a horrible way to go! Imagine the agony. Hopefully the parents weren’t too far gone not to get help for the dog. At least to put it down humanely.
Only kidding. I just made that up (I heard 73.7% of all statistics seen on the Internet are fabricated!)
Seriously, I don't think it is a problem at all in those kinds of doses.

Also, there is often a phone number you can call on the packaging. I have done this on occasion, and the ensuing conversations can be interesting.
The mother Pat was finally discovered dead in the house from alcoholism 2 weeks after the fact.
The Great Dane had been eating her..
A friend of mine is lead guitar player in a band. Occasionally, he has to glue his callouss back on his fingers and he uses super glue to do it between sets. He says that he keeps a tube of it in his guitar case.
Good Lord!
Did the story make the news? It had to.
Don’t you have any duct tape?
Like someone else said...buy a new pot.
I’ve been using cyanoacrylate glue on my artificial nails for years and never a problem. I wouldn’t drink it, though.
Can’t remember...this was around 1983
Dedham, MA
Correct ... it was supposedly developed by the British during WWI to close wounds on the battlefield so that they could get the injured soldier to a hospital without him bleeding to death.
DAP makes good stuff. My go to for adhesives.
Breaking off the spout on a Mr. Coffee might improve the normal drip spill pattern.
