This is the latest in our apparently endless series of stories covering the destruction of competitive women’s sports by the introduction of “transgender women” into the events. This time we’re back to the sport of weightlifting. A transgender powerlifter named Mary Gregory recently “dominated” the field at a Powerlifting Federation competition last month, smashing four world records for that weight class in the process. This had the actual women competing in the event understandably upset and protests were lodged. But after an investigation was conducted, the federation chairman posted an announcement saying that the record lifts were being taken off the books. (Pink News)
100% Raw Powerlifting Federation president Paul Bossi said the group has stripped Gregory of her wins because he believes she is male.
“It was revealed that this female lifter was actually a male in the process of becoming a Transgender female,” Bossi said in the statement.
“Our rules, and the basis of separating genders for competition, are based on physiological classification rather than identification.
“On the basis of all information presented to the Board of Directors for this particular case, the conclusion made, is that the correct physiological classification is male.”
The federation is clearly trying to tiptoe their way around the subject here to avoid backlash from the social justice warriors and their allies in the media. They’re taking great pains to insist that Gregory is a woman if he wishes to identify that way, but the federation’s rules are not based on gender identity, but rather biological sex. And even though Gregory was taking estrogen and testosterone blockers for eleven months, that didn’t make him biologically female. (You only need to look at the pictures in the linked article to see that those hormone treatments didn’t have much of an effect.)

It has been a long time since my college days but I was on the women’s basketball team. I was by no means the best but it was fun and very competitive both intra-collegiately and inter-collegiately. It took a lot of time and hard work, plus it was necessary to keep my grades up if I wanted to be on the team. Furthermore, I would say this, women athletes are NOT the lazy looney leftists that need “red pilling.” Both male and female athletes are hardworking focused conservative smart practical-minded people who don’t drink excessively, fool around, or use drugs, and who must keep their grades up along with hours of exhausting practice. They do not have the time for social justice nonsense. The women who need “red pilling” are the promiscuous, hard drinking, stoned indifferent students in the liberal arts programs. Your disgraceful smug superiority about this craziness is unjustly hurting moral and patriotic young women (and young men too) who don’t deserve it at all! Get it through your minds, please, that the addled confused youngsters who need a dose of reality are not the young athletes. These young athletes deserve ONLY your support and concern, they are the best, and they have earned it! (And they are most likely the clear-minded conservatives of tomorrow.) Indeed, the ones who need the “red pilling” are really quite pleased that the “jocks” they look down on, are suffering.

The only way to resolve this, since the PC bunch have opened the door, is to have 4 separate sets for each competition:
males only
females only
male2females only
female2males only
[Of course, that opens the door to other minority groups wanting special treatment/venues, as well.]
No matter how much the PC bunch want to rewrite biology, males and females ARE physiologically different.
If that's the case, how did the XX person get entered in the competition?
The rule should always be based on biological sex. Not just in weightlifting but in all sports. End of discussion.
If the person has a penis, they are male and can only compete against other men.
If the person has a vagina, they are female and can only compete against other women.
If they have neither, they are "undetermined" and they can't compete at all.
Easy peasy.

Males have XY chromosomes. Females have XX chromosomes. The person your story talks about is a male, no matter how many body parts he cuts or distorts or tucks or how many chemicals he injects into his body. Period. Full stop. End of story. For a society that somehow thinks of itself as educated and scientific, we sure have found a way to pervert PERCEPTION over REALITY.
Agree. All this nonsense is headed to the Supreme Court and when they crap-can the whole business there will be a lot of butthurt but society will revert to what previously passed for sanity and the very tiny minority of “trans” will just have to live with the situation.

Anyone, XX or XY who has ever taken testosterone should be barred from women’s sports!
Anyone should be able to compete in male sports if they have the ability.
