Here in Ohio a property can't sell at auction for less than 2/3 of it's appraised value if it's a Sheriff's sale.Too many farmers helped their neighbors during the depression by doing buybacks for a dollar that the banks had to intervene by way of their bought and paid for politicians.The pols feathered their own nests by inventing property tax liens.
