Dont put the camera in my face! said the unidentified female employee. Im going to call the police.
A third employee then came out with her young son and cursed at Murphy and began slapping at the camera. Thats assault right there! Murphy said. A male employee began recording the CBS46 photographer and questioned whether Murphy was even allowed on the premises.

Good late night joints are hard to find.
So it is OK if Denny's employees traipse through the news offices, asking questions and disrupting the workflow???
A copper on his late night break would not enjoy being disturbed.
The reporter is wearing a Walter Winchell-style hat in his photo. I will say that it isn’t hard to get 100% on a Georgia health inspection. That said, a failing restaurant would normally take fast and hard measures to correct, which is the main point of the inspections in the first place. The employees should have been instructed on the appropriate response. Probably something along the lines of “You will have to talk to the owner during the day. If you haven’t come here to eat I am going to have to ask you to leave.”
“Adam Murphy entered the restaurant to politely ask questions”
Who are they kidding? There’s nothing polite about walking in with a camera crew.
Why do ‘reporters’ think they have carte blanche to just barge into a place of business an start demanding answers to their petty little questions like they were the Spanish Inquisition?...............
They should try that crap at the local Waffle House...
If they report on it, where’s the local population going to go for their hepatitis and incorrectly cooked eggs?
I side with the employees on this one.....................
The article says that a Mr. Dimitri Lotovski was the cameraman.
Reminds me of a cab ride I had decades ago in New York City. The Russian immigrants had just started arriving, and not a few were driving a cab. I asked the driver how he liked America. His answer: “I love it, but you having just one problem - too much freedom!”
I'm with you. Anything anyone can do to discourage these press vermin is okay by me.
Lol. Freaking clueless.
To answer: Casper, yes, its our culture which is as legitimate as yours. Better.
Blacks should dictate that it is racist to film them and laugh when it becomes racist to film them.
We have that same problem here in Georgia with immigrant New Yorkers.
Just doing the jobs that Americans wont do it.
They should try that crap at the local Waffle House...
Waffle House / Denny’s, isn’t that a difference without a distinction??
IHOP???
Jacks? Go for the kangaroo burger special!!!
Local greasy spoon???
Waffle Houses, based on my limited experience (and news reports) tend to be smaller, less fastidious and have a rougher clientele...
...and if you’re brave, you can watch the food being cooked.
Do you use that language in front of your son?
The teacher calls little Johnny’s parents about a problem.
The teacher says just watch, as little Jane comes by with the milk tray.
“I DON’T WANT NO F...N MILK!”
The teacher looks to the old man, “If he don’t want no f...n milk, don’t give ‘em any f...n milk!”
I think saying the reporter was assaulted is a bit of an overstatement. They were given a bums rush out of the restaurant.
Not exactly Southern Hospitality.
Why so defensive and unprofessional?
