A portion of his remains, from his heart, will be launched into orbit, where he will watch over the Earth, and we can track his location as he showers the world with love.
Munt, who also owns another cat named Zee, started Pikachus fundraising campaign about two months ago, and as of April 25, he has raised $1,615 of the $5,000 goal. Celestis charges $5,000 for its Earth orbit pet launch service, which is one of four different options the company offers for pet memorial spaceflights. According to celestispets.com, the container of the pets ashes will be placed in Earth orbit where it remains until it reenters the atmosphere, harmlessly vaporizing like a shooting star in final tribute.
Munts GoFundMe hasnt raised enough funds to meet the price for Pikachus proposed space memorial, however, Munt told Space.com that he already purchased the felines ticket to space with his own savings. I have already signed the contract and just recently paid in full for the service. While I continue to accept donations for those who wish to be a part of this tribute, fundraising is not a primary goal for me, Munt told Space.com. My dream is coming true, regardless of any additional donations, and I am currently awaiting an assigned slot on a future launch.

So now that there’s trash all over the world, in the ocean and then some, let’s launch a dead animal to trash up the solar system?
Seems like you’re needed here
Sounds like he got the idea from the old 1966 movie THE LOVED ONE.
Oh, the cat got dead; we put him in a box
And we dug a little hole and we covered him with rocks
And we picked a couple dandelions, said a little prayer
And we all went off to bed cause we mostly didnt care.

yep
Catption: and when you die, you get turned into cations
I thought that too until i read it will re-enter the atmosphere and burn up. Its why they only launch a part of his ashes.
Awww...those are cute kitties.
rather that crash into my space vehicle than a piece of Chinese junk or an Astroid or a dead Liberal
In the solar system, theres plenty of room to swing a dead cat.
Humans are stupid.
In space, no one can here you meow.
Why?
