Following an incident involving a pair of lightly armed U.S. soldiers and a squad of more heavily-armed Mexican troops in Texas earlier this month, POTUS Donald Trump announced Wednesday that in the future, American soldiers will also carry additional arms.
In addition, the president opined that perhaps the Mexican troops were not really interested in securing their country’s border as they were assisting a drug cartel.
“Mexico’s Soldiers recently pulled guns on our National Guard Soldiers, probably as a diversionary tactic for drug smugglers on the Border. Better not happen again! We are now sending ARMED SOLDIERS to the Border. Mexico is not doing nearly enough in apprehending & returning!” the commander-in-chief tweeted.

We were “boarded” by the USCG on SF Bay while having an afternoon sail, some time back. They wanted to do a “safety check.” They put one guy on board (”to stand guard”) with an M-16 w/o a mag in the magwell. So I asked him where his ammo was? he said: “back on the 41 footer!” So I asked him what he’d do if I decided to throw him overboard. He said: “you wouldn’t do that would you?”

I think using any intoxicant is not a good idea, but the libertarian FReepers whose posts I have read are opposed to drug prohibition in part because prohibition leads to organized crime - like the drug cartels. After all, we don't have criminal beer cartels do we?

Actually wrong, wrong, and wrong. Prohibition was a failure so yes turning drugs into OTC would depower cartels. Pro second amendment as a guard against tyranny when ballots stop counting. Life is a gift from GOD starts at conception and the baby has a right to be born. I don’t care what queers do but it is NOT marriage as that is a covenant between GOD and yhe couple man woman.
