"Purples consume the most TV. They tend to take action based on what they learn about politics and social issues from fictional movies and TV. "
Help us.

Can’t stand the Hallmark Channel. Do watch lot’s of the History channel except for the alien crap. TV is usually on Discovery or Smithsonian channels.

95% of non sports I watch on TV is black and white.

Two words: Norman Lear. Enough said.

The only action that run of the mill TV shows cause me to make is to change the channel.

So people who haven’t succumbed to brainwashing and actively resist it are conservative; people who have succumbed so much that they decide to go out and warp the world to conform with the brainwashing rather than just do brainwashing are liberal; and middle America watches far too much TV without having a clue about how the world should be changed.
God help us one and all.

I have a TV. It's located directly across the living room from my reading chair. I can't remember the last time I watched anything. I'd rather read a book or surf the Internet.

Cant stand the Hallmark Channel.
My 15 year old daughter loves Hallmark Channel movies In her age group most choices in current programming are that or nihilistic snark. I am willing for her to opt for Hallmark sentimentalism.

The Norman Lear Center
Well they ought to know. The biggest fans of All in the Family were conservatives who tuned-in to agree with Archie.
To: Avalon Memories
Any “study” with Norman Lear’s name on it is lying propaganda.
Well, unless the title is, “How Anything with Norman Lear’s Name On It Is Communist Lies.” ;-)

JoeFrom Sidney, EXACTLY. We haven’t had a television of any sort since 1996. We’ve survived!
To: EdnaMode
I pay for cable but aside from the local news (which I only tolerate for the weather reports) the TV is rarely on in my house except on weekends, when my BF insists on watching FoxNews and a few assorted History channel shows.
I prefer to watch pre-1950s movies on the internet.

Interesting. I never watch TV shows. Just read the news.
Once in a while, I watch a movie.
Last week, watched an entire 12-part history series.
I just thought that meant I was boring.
