I was once behind two Hispanic women, a youngish one with a well behaved young boy about 4 or 5, and an older one who was likely a relative. They had two shopping carts filled to the brim. She paid with a food stamp card, and when that wasn’t quite enough to cover it, she whipped out her American Express card to finish the transaction.

That story is “average” here in L.A. There were times when this clown paid for beer at Rite Aid using his welfare card, another asshole paid for his and chips, even bragging to his friend to “add more” and drove a MB.
Another time (THIS YEAR) I was NOT in a good mood and this twit held up the line, asking the cashier to call up the welfare office her card was not working. Looking at her head to toe, I’m 100% sure she was not hurting for money.
I told her “Ok, for the rest of us who actually work for a living and paid our way thru life, why dont you just stand aside so the rest of us can actually PAY for our stuff?”
She gave me the stare but I didn give a sh*t..

I argue with a 30 something at work who insists that immigrants get no public assistance.
Muslims in US request food stamps even while they have enough money to purchase because they hide their bank accounts information to be eligible for these stamps...further it is not ‘haram’ because they aren’t taking money from an Islamic country!

more free food from food banks

There are 42 separate free programs for ‘poor people’ in my State.
You sure it was a VISA card? My brother used to have a credit card that looked like those food stamp cards, so he changed to a different card.
They’re just buying the groceries American wont buy ... courtesy of the 50% who pay taxes today, and future generations credit cards.

I had a similar but slightly weirder experience.
In line behind a Latina whose cart was loaded brimming with food and stuff. Also 5 kids hanging on the cart. The cashier rings up the items and it is $380. The Latina produces a voucher thingy and the cashier says the store doesn’t accept it and hands it back. The Latina just hands it back to her, shrugging. The manager is called. He asked what the voucher is and the Latina just shrugs. The manager just looks at the cashier and says, ‘Ok, let her go.’ And she rolls out the door, spilling a beanlet or two on the way.
He was buying cheese?

Sitting there.....munching their cheese.....crumbs of cheese cascading down the front of their shirts.....starving mice looking at them with pitiful eyes.

I was in a supermarket in Norfolk, VA. There was a young, well dressed Black couple checking out. They purchased over $200 worth of nothing but meat. Then paid for it with stamps.
I noticed they got into an Alfa Romeo sports car. I took down the tag number. The next work day I asked a woman who I worked with, how I should report it. She had worked for the welfare dept.
She told me it was pointless. She said they actually would investigate but it would turn out the car was borrowed etc. or they were buying for someone else.
That would be the equivalent to around $500 in today’s money.
We are now in the “looting state” of a dying Republic. This looks nothing, on ANY level, like the country I grew up in and I’m not that old.
Once the demographics tip over & they will soon enough, watch future president Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho or a close facsimile strut around the Capitol along with Alexandra Ocasio Cortez & Rashida Tlaib & gangs of like-minded idiots calling for a total dismantling of this nation & all of its culture & customs.
We have not seen anywhere near the chaos that is coming. Mostly, thanks to the 1965 Immigration Act, that allowed over 40 million LEGAL third world peoples to pour into the country & vote 80% of the time for Democrats.
